Good one SLS as always it mean to be. straight to the point Smile
when reading whole stuff i realized there are bit of promoters and demoters characteristics  inadvertently work in myself as well. It seems common to most of members actually but I know what you point out is not general crowed but very specific people here. Very Happy

im not actually an active poster here. But what i wanted to point out is that SLS mentioned here is very important. guys read it well  and when we are commenting on a particular topic should think twice and eliminate our bad characteristics as much as possible. That will help to forum and our selves and new comers then find easy to identify real promoters and demoters play among us. Smile

If someone thinks a post or few can change the direction of a price movement of a stock, then he should be a real stupid. This community is very small than you expect.

Guys btw,

Identify good shares and at what price you should buy.

Keep watching the market. At dips  it might not be a bad idea to collect slowly in steps  Wink  In red market wait for price to come to you.

Do not jump and buy big quantities and then complain if  the price falls another 5%.

Investment  with patience is different to gambling and wanting profit in 2 weeks.  Know which is which.

THANK YOU SIR, it is real advice

Think some people here still have not  got the point.  This is not about CSE overall market.

BTw :

There are  many people here who bought CIFL from Rs 4 -9 thanks to some efforts in the forum . We/I get  many PMs asking what to do now ? ( and lot of other shares)  Then  CABO at Rs 140 ( atleast that is a fundamental)  PCH at 5 . TWOD at Rs  8 SFS at Rs 4-6 etc etc.

People should  be aware  how another forum have been used   as a platform to promote  PCH and BFL  and was  intercepted by SEC from what we know.  It was shut down  for a while.   Though forum itself maybe too small , there needs to be medium to spread stuff.  When  self fulfilling prophecies come true you will be surprised who gets caught at the top.

Look I think said enough for anybody to really understand if they really want too.  This is becoming another  waste of time.

Glad some people atleast got the real point here

If people want to make this a gamblers paradise with topic like Rs 50 dividends , A Crossing due at Rs 50 when the share is Rs 33 ,  50% share increases in 2 weeks for a negative asset share   okay you can have your way.

Myself and some others  have behind/in front of the scene done our best over several years so you have somewhat an impartial  forum . Public do not know how much time is taken behind the scenes to sort matters

Best is for people to learn the hard way.  Time for me stop wasting further time  here as I said what is needed at this time.

May the wise  take what is relevant.  Discard the rest. All the best.

@slstock why do you not like another rights? There is talk about it due to the credit rating

Also CINS likes to invest more via rights before any share sale.

I think if they raise another 500m then CDB should be at  least be B rated and in a much better position. They have to drop the loan to deposit ratio to less than 100%

If they raise 1 billion then they will be in a very good position...... perhaps raise 500m via another debenture with the new rating

Promoters come and go after spewing something but only a handful here would take their promotions seriously.
But if someone wants to take them seriously than with a pinch of salt, then let it be and let them learn the hard way.
After burning their fingers, some may be transformed from Boys to Men.
The purpose of the forum should not be to protect Boys.
As the saying goes “ I can protect myself from my enemies; may the laws protect me from my friends! “.
Why do any one try to protect BOYs, let them learn to protect themselves on their own. Very Happy

Hmm,...

Question is should the senior members and Admin team do nothing even when they know some bad is going on?

Something for all to think deeper. ( not just meant for Kithsiri)

If a school boy ( maybe a relative )  is getting exposed to drugs due to  a  persons coming and selling within School premises and we Know it  , should we wait for the Boy to burn himself or should we take some action?

This is related to out  country too. Do we have  responsibility and accountability.  If we are to develop to a better country we need to develop collective  social responsibility.  Collective/mass action against wrongdoers has a  lot of power though people don't realize.  Easiest thing is to ignore and say it is not my personal problem somebody else will take care of it.  Issue happens when we let the wrong doers  carry their work saying it is not our proble as it is not relatedto me.

Stock trading is the primary focus of the forum. But these matters are an extension who we are and indirectly related to everyones success.

I think for karma to not bite one  in their ass, we need to lead an  ethical life. Maybe it be real life or  stock trading too.  Money earned though bad means usually find a way to dissapear.

I hope my reason to post this is clearer now. I always felt we have a social responsibility to stand for the right . That what I have been doing as an Admin and a member . I am sure SMall , Sri and Mod team also will agree.

Okay since I said it my conscience is clear now. I can take a break with a lighter mind from my capacity as aMemebr and an Admin .

I already see lot o f people who understand the issue here. Though people can say this is a public forum and we don;t know anyone really why we need rules so let anyone post anything. Okay atleast I showed a different perspective.

If there are no rules and decorum we will not need Admins and Moderators. Anyone can do anything. Many of us can be
freeeeee and save a lot of wasted time here.

Over to you forum.

If you are talking about social responsibilities of the forum, then I am for warning and banning promoters.
But I still believe the surest and the hardest way to learn is by going through the fire once, like many of us did at least once.
As Wappula says, if there are No Boys, how are we to make a killing?
As in the jungle, one’s dinner is another’s peril and Stock Market is no difference.

I have no qualm with, as far as SLSTOCK’s credentials, credibility and or worthiness here are concerned.
Have a great trading day ahead (The show has just begun). Very Happy

“Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.”

Pretty sure i never said that - Lord Buddha

Above is a bad translation of the Kalama Sutta, so bad that in fact it contradicts the message of the Sutta. which says that reason and common sense are not sufficient for ascertaining the truth.

Here’s the original version, from Access to Insight:
“Now, Kalamas, don’t go by reports, by legends, by traditions, by scripture, by logical conjecture, by inference, by analogies, by agreement through pondering views, by probability, or by the thought, ‘This contemplative is our teacher.’ When you know for yourselves that, ‘These qualities are skillful; these qualities are blameless; these qualities are praised by the wise; these qualities, when adopted & carried out, lead to welfare & to happiness’ — then you should enter & remain in them.
The Buddha is talking to some people who live near his home country. These people, the Kalamas, are confused by the multiplicity of teachings that they hear. Many teachers arrive, who extoll their own teachings and disparage the teachings of others. And the Kalamas want to know, “Which of these venerable brahmans and contemplatives are speaking the truth, and which ones are lying?”

The Buddha’s reply is very full, but it’s clear he says that “reason” (logical conjecture, inference, analogies, agreement through pondering views) and “common sense” (probability) are not sufficient bases for determining what the truth is. It’s not that these things should be discarded, but ultimately it’s experience and the opinion of the wise that is our guide.
So this brings up at least two questions:
1. If experience is to be our guide, does that mean we have to test out every theory and practice? No. If a teacher says something like “taking drugs is the path to happiness” you don’t have to try drugs. Your experience includes observation of other people’s experience, so that if you have seen others suffering through taking drugs you don’t have to repeat their mistakes.
2. Who is to say who the wise are? You are. Through your experience (see point 1, above). Who have you found to be reliable and insightful in the past? They’re the wise. Now you don’t have to take everything they say as being the absolute truth. You can use your reason, your common sense, and your experience as a guide. Not all of “the wise” will agree, for example, so you’re still going to have to figure things out for yourself ultimately.
It’s this second criterion that is often overlooked.

Funny Part of this topic is, Most of the cunning  stock promoters from my experience are the Big shots in this forum and admins/moderators

If you are a new comer please don't take any advice from this forum even if you might think at first they are great. Specially don't listen to the lot saying these shares are even more attractive now; you can buy fundamentally good shares at any price or where ever th market at. You will end up getting your hands burned!
