LLUB has been stable at 290-295 levels even when the market fell - I feel that the price will move to 360 levels when the market recovers. I personally feel that this is the best time to collect! It might be 400 by Nov

The share is not worthy at all in this price.their market share is loosing at the moment . They don't have monopoly like CTC before.LIOC and another 3 Comanies yet to come to lubricant market. High competition may reduce the prices.but the good thing is Sri Lanka has niche market for vehicles.

I would like to politely disagree - I have looked into a comprehensive company research report and there were many positive points they noted. It is a common misconception that the company is overly dependent on revenue generated via the sale of lubricants to retail clients. Technicals also show a very high chance of a price increase to 360 levels and the company is well-managed with very low exposure to the high electricity costs. Im confident that the next quarter will show a very healthy profit. They posted a healthy 1Q profit of 770m (up 16% YoY and 35% QoQ) and there should be better demand from the industrial segment (35-40% of sales mix) given improving macroeconomic factors. GP margin expanded to 37.9% in Q1 from 32.8% last year. Capex is internally funded and they have a relatively attractive net dividend yield. LLUB has strong brand equity and superior distribution network and customer reach will ensure that they hold on to their market share,

When investing we have to think about several factors. ALLI is missing one of critical factors. That is the liquidity.

What is ur opining for that.

Do u have only ALLI to mention out of 250 plus listed companies in CSE?

If ALLI is attractive at present what would be your action? I mean are u going to buy it or are u going to wait even for ALLI because u told us that the mkt will come down by another 550 points one day.

If ur investing immediately with ALLI what is the quantity ur looking for? Or do u already have ALLI with u? and what is the Q roughly tell me?

because I just want to get a clear idea of u. If u don't like don't answer these things. take it positively.

People who know about LLUB know very well about that company. People who don't know the depth of LLUB always tell about the over valuation story.

I can remember couple of years back they lost their monopoly to brands like Laugh, and several other brands due to the govt policy.

At that time most of broker companies published negative reports about LLUB and ask their clients to sell the counter.

That's what they know and the company very successfully overcome the challenges they faced that time and still maintaining the mkt leader position for oil products.

Mystery of LLUB continue in future as well.

The most important thing i see in LLUB is its management. It has the potential to overcome any challenge while keeping a stable growth. NEST also has the same story. Some mentioned about ALLI as well. ALLI's less liquidity has kept that share well below its real value so i'm collecting it slowly. One day it will reach its true value

within two months it reached 133%, a strong support level.

from 220 in April to 295 in June.

Fair enough to understand the share..

very true. I can rember that days. since from the begining the retail selling centers of the LLUB and other oil products were fuel filling stations. But 2001 goverment gave 1/3 of fuel filling centers to IOC. then IOC fuel filling stations STOP SELLING LLUB products and started selling their brands. most of thought LLUB will definitly loose their market share. but LLUB managemet had the capacity to change the attitute of the people by going to caltex oil mart to get oil insted of buying IOC and other product. one is their quality of product, other is their capacity and strategies. I think they can tolerate any competetion. That is why is said one of the best manged companyes in SL.
