There seem to be some people spreading nonsense about Touchwood limited - I personally feel that there is no proof to back the claims. The share is quite attractive at 5 given its NAV of 28!

If they show even small profits next Quarter, it might reach 8 levels (60% growth) in a few months.

Im not saying that Im 100% sure that TWOD is a great company - but given the proof that is available, its a good share for a SHORT TERM GAIN. Buy at 5, exit at 7.50 levels. Im not recommending people to hold on beyond that. Im not recommending that anyone should invest in the company by purchasing their trees, just the share.

I havent heard from anyone that there has been any problem with repayment rates! And this company has been there for almost 15 years!

Recently they have appointed a consultant to restructure the company - its indicate that the company is having some issues

Above announcement indicate they are looking for the strategic investors as well!

Of course they could have issues relating to restructuring but the accusation here is that they are a bunch of crooks with someone calling them the new Sakvitihi! I mentioned that I haven't heard problems relating to repayment. For example, if JKH hires some expert to restructure company, it doesnt mean that they are crooks!

1. If people studied the business model of TWOD and how they generate(d) cash, profit, assets from the beginning, before investing in its shares no one would suffer.

2. If people studied the business model of TWOD and how they generate(d) cash, profit, assets from the beginning, before paying money for future trees no one would suffer.

Their main income was  down payment collection from fresh tree lot owners.
For that kind of income, you have to find new clients continuously.
You can do it for some time with aggressive marketing .
With that money, they pay salaries, develop lands, buy  and maintain vehicles , offices or play as they wanted.

Inflow of  new funds will continue  until the people realize they pay laks of rupees for tiny plants in bags (  OR when they reach final living person on Earth. ) (Pyramid effect)

When you reach that point troubles will start.

Hence, before that day,  you have to have enough mature trees in the fields . (So that you can cut and sell. )

As per the unconfirmed news coming in , yes they have such assets,  mainly in books.

If these images are true then ?

Im not saying that its a good company to invest in!!! Im just saying that at 5, its an attractive buy! Dont go and buy trees if you dont want to! Im not promoting that. Im just saying that if you buy at 5, it might go to 7. Make a short term gain, get out. Thats it

If you want to buy shares, go buy TJL, AEL, NTB, CSD, LLUB etc! Im just saying that its not right to spread false rumors because there must be people who bought at 20 levels etc. I didnt buy it but I know a few people who did. Sin.

Why is AEL always brought up? The volume traded and the volume willing to be traded is quite a big difference.

There's many in this forum who own this share...
The market moves to supply and demand ... if you like fundamentals stick to unit trusts

The daily trading volume is extremely low compared to the supply of shares. It can move up but there are plenty waiting to sell on the way

Dear Humble....

I may be wrong....

but I feel like you are trying to get fair comment or say about TWOD.....

Seems like you feel bit no comfortable when words & sentences go against TWOD value & future

Is there ay reason for you to appear on behalf of TWOD...

Do you feel that only TWOD get this much negative comments from the people......

Do you hold high amount of TWOD......

I can understand what you are saying about TWOD... It is not wrong what you are saying about TWOD....

But may I know any reason for your defend or interest only on TWOD...?

I am not against you.... Very Happy

Thx!

No no I dont own a high amount of TWOD - I just find it to be wrong to make accusations without any solid proof and blacken people's name! I dont know this Maloney guy but I havent heard from even one credible source that he has done anything wrong. Maybe he is a bad person. Maybe he is not. I need proof before I believe. If someone insulted some other guy, I would say the same. I am just saying that at 5 it is not a bad buy. Thats all. And there are lots of people stuck with this share and losing their hard earned money - its not right to spread false rumors. If you want to criticize its gearing ratio etc - go for it. I have nothing against it. If I had a portfolio it would be into NTB, TJL, CSD, AEL and LLUB. Not TWOD.

Chinwi I thought their business was going for ridiculous rights issues

I'm also thinking of entering this business... instead of an unfair IPO just go for a very nice IPO with rights issues one after the other.... of course I won't subscribe but you will affraid

My point is not to buy TWOD! My point is not to spread nasty rumors about people when there is no proof of their wrongdoing!!! If you have proof, please present it here and you can say whatever you want about the company
