The ASI will decline 5,800 to very soon and there will be a support level as investors may try to put their full effort to buy shares on credit or margin trading. The election and November event may give a boost to market. Weaken rupee give some more revenue to plantation decor but only god knows when this rain stop. Rubber cultivation effect very badly these wether conditions. Daily tapping rate is 20% as it's raining morning to afternoon . The wage hike , electricity tariffs also considerable factors. When it comes to banking sector average 14% or more have been given as loan advances. One of a leading bank yesterday auctioned a gold necklace at a price of 168,000 but bank has to collect minimum of 176,500 on cost basis an official said. Lot of people are smart and they forget their ornaments.it seems that 50% of industries in the country in a trouble.

Now Teller is giving some points for his expectation.

Any counter arguments for Tellers prediction?

Really all of us are discussing Index decline and up, (Which is useless IMHO) but how many are considering about their selected counters?

Now what's the point here. We are investing in shares just to make profits. If u are a long term investor nothing to worry about the mkt up or down. You don't want to care where the index is heading. Only thing u must do, is selecting best value future stocks. then forget it. Time will give u every thing.

Again if u can make profits in mkt up or down then who cares the index. I personally don't care the ASI. If u follow the ASI then ur are ended up with nothing.JKH is not the CSE. Now ASI came from bottom as 4700 levels to 6000 levels. Just see what has happened to shares like TWOD,GREG,PCH,CIFL etc..etc.. Did they move upward during this (4700 - 6000) period?

Now just see the points made by teller. according to him banking, plantations, and industries are at a risk. But there are companies which do not come to that list. just think about thoes companies. if u know them right then ur safe.If it is the case thoese company shares should appreciate by now. If it is not happening means our investors have no proper idea about the mkt or stocks.

Just see before 2009 even with the war foreigners purchased stock in CSE. After the war they exit. That is called investing. Many are here doing gambling. That's why they are worried about the index. That's why they are talking about ASI movement.

Seems like teller sold his odd shares and waiting for it to come down to 5500.
These types of jokers are everywhere and if you see their portfolios you will see all the junk which bought when peak and getting frustrated and selling at the bottom and spreading the word that it will come down to this and that levels. I have seen hundreds of jokers like TELLER.
Mkt will not come down to 5800 or 5500 thats for sure. There are some JKH deals to b happen @ 250 levels and some mega deals which can boost the mkt to a new era.

I feel there might be some facts in teller's say - red colored - to think of....as chances to happen..
but i don't think those things are not so strong enough to put ASI so down unless some other strong thing happened...
-----

based on my short time with CSE!
I predict...

ASI to be touched the lowest before next run....may happen

25% chance to be ASI lowest above 6000
50% chance to be ASI lowest between 5850 - 5999
25% chance to be ASI lowest below 5850

last FRIDAY it touch 6017.80 but again gone up....

but I DO NOT THINK 5500 will be touched again unless terrible political mishap happened....which I don't think!!!

anyway all these are just as I feel ....no theories... Sad

My dear KD
you say 100% ASI below 6000
           75%  ASI below between 5850-5999
           25%  ASI below 5850
"last FRIDAY it touch 6017.80 but again gone up...."
Last few days i saw at the end asi artificially move up

Hi Nihal123!

Thx for your comment on my response..... Smile

I am sorry if I mislead you.......
but what I meant was ........ "the minimum value of ASI could be touched before next BULL......"....... if I summarized it in categories as you tried....... it should be like........

"the minimum value of ASI could be touched before next BULL......"

1. 25% above 6000
75% below 6000

2. 75% above 5850
25% below 5850

Ok lets take is as ASI has to come down.. Everyday there's T+3 or T+5 or T+20 happens.. Now brokers allow the settlements to happen even at T+20 since the watch dog relaxed their rules. Brokers dont have problems as all their clients are not requesting cheques so they can roll the credit they have.. Now the market is running with credit again which is not good but not much of an effect as earlier since the credit exposure is less. Some ppl still dont wanna buy on credit as a policy seeing the last bear period.

Yes rubber tapping in rainy seasons is affected, KGAL, KOTA, HOPL are the three rubber plantations we have with a considerable exposure to rubber (does WATA also have?, I cannot remember). And KGAL is the front runner with the highest exposure to rubber. They will have less revenue for Q2 and may also to Q3 if this rain continues. However, the effect on wage hike should not be a big injury to these big companies as this is a normal 2-3 year cyclic effect. And the management should (must) have cards on their hands to play when these things pop up.

Gold is an issue, that's why the Govt has introduce tax on new imports to protect the industry.. Now I heard the Gold is going at 44000 even wit this tax. Now TA analysts predict the Gold to drop a little further that they previously expected since in global market Gold already hit $1200 mark. But banks and financial institutes like LFIN have risk mitigation plans for this Gold drama.. From the beginning they shold've known that its a risk. So proper risk mitigation techniques must have already been applied than we started worrying now Wink

So banking, plantations, some financial institutes with higher exposure to Gold are at risk. And these are not the 50%. So if 50% of industries are in trouble, what are they? And what are safe industries?
