The disclosed quantity should be at least 25% of the total quantity in my trading version. Any one different?

It is same here. I think that is the rule.
I can divide the total qty by 4 and place the figure.
8000 -> 2 x 4000 allowed
8000 -> 4 x 2000 allowed.
8000 -> 8 x 1000 is not allowed.

In most markets, there is nothing unethical about not disclosing exactly how many items you are willing to sell (or buy). My opinion is that Iceberg orders are completely legal and ethical.

What is ISON - Nov'2013?

Oh dear that is not related to stocks.

ISON is an approaching big comet towards the Sun and in this November it could create spectacular display in the sky. It is known as The Comet of the Century.
For that it  has to survive strong solar wind and gravitation pull. If failed it will be broken into several parts and probably fallen in to the Sun.

---from www ---
About 10,000 years ago, Comet ISON left our solar system's distant shell, a region known as the Oort cloud, and began streaking toward the sun. This November, the icy wanderer will reach the climax of its journey, potentially providing a stunning skywatching show here on Earth.

Comet ISON was discovered just last September by two Russian amateur astronomers. Scientists have since recognized ISON as a possible "comet of the century," but to live up to its promise, it will have to survive its dangerous perihelion, or closest approach to the sun.

It is going to be one of the most dramatic cosmic spectacles in years, and NASA believes that some of the dust being ejected from its tail may end up on Earth.

On Nov. 28, 2013, Ison will fly through the sun's atmosphere little more than a million km from the stellar surface. If the comet survives--a big IF--it could emerge glowing as brightly as the Moon, briefly visible near the sun in broad daylight. The comet's dusty tail stretching into the night sky could create a worldwide sensation.

--end--

I have watched comet Kohoutek, Hyakutake, West (1976), Halley (1985), Hale Bopp ... etc. and anticipating to see the newest visitor to our solar system.

ISON like display was expected from Comet Kohoutek in 1973 , newspapers prepared full page covering for a "Daylight" comet . Scientists predicted it will be bigger than the fullmoon. Unfortunately it failed and many people could not see it with naked eye.
I saw it as a faint object through my 2.5 inch f=2 ft. telescope .

If anybody interested , I may update news on ISON time to time.

Please update- These are once in a lifetime events. How many days will it be visible. November may not have clear skies.

Million time agree with you. When you come in to trading these are ethical.

Friends,

Thanks for your responses..
Well, i believe now every one having at least a simple understand about the Iceberg orders. It's very important to follow those techniques as a best practice during the trading. Smile

Actually this is only a one technique to Buy | Sell quantities without having a affect for the supply and demand of the market.  Other than that there are many other techniques and methods using in different exchanges all over the world which we don't use in Sri Lanka. We'll talk about them when time permits.

This is we called as a hidden liquidity technique.

One more thing,

Do you know how does this replenishing process is happening ?

Note

The exact word replenishing is using ,
When the first peak size has been fully executed, the visible part is immediately filled by a size equal to the peak size.

*** It's all depend on the requirements and then setting those parameters according to that.
