Can something good be expected from JINS at the latter part of August ?
Last year it was in August and wondering whether it would be repeated this year too.

They have already declared a dividend for FY 2013.

Last august they have given for FY 2012.
In march 2013 they paid for FY 2013.

Highly unlikely, unless they decided to increase the payout.

As per information that I got, one broker firm collecting JINS at 14 to some specific investor. Dont know whether he is a shortterm or longterm. But you may ask from your broker they will know something...

Let's just say I know a lot about shares. Better than your average broker.

JINS is two companies. Janashakthi and National Insurance Corporation. NIC has assets like those Colombo offices but also big liabilities.
NIC is turning out to be a bad apple under current rules. There are new rules which are more strict.
