Browns       -    PBV   0.42
PE (Estimated with 1st Qtr results)  -  5.66

Browns is most under value share in the market - Based on PBV (other than Plantation companies)

I think now is the better time to buy this share, price was droped during last 1-2 years continusly now this is the time to collect before eyeing by some one

what do u think.

Yes, sorry Captain, you seems to be talking about BRWN.N.

But note, how the earning of last quarter was realized.

Note that sold HNB shares,. If not they would have made a loss. BRWN book value wise is undervalued and can go up a bit , but I am really conerned about theur reanign performance over the last few years.

I am talking about Browns PLC (BRWN.N) Share & eyeing by some one means, when people starting to buy it will go up within one , two or three days, then it will more risky to buy than now, so it is better to buy this share now with little little quantities,
i m talking about this share valuation mainly based on PBV, but as told by "SLSTOCK", might not able to maitain their estimated PE, but based on PBV gud to buy now,

If its PBV, I think there are better counters with good management.

Try the following link
http://research.srilankaequity.com/t825-capital-trust-companies-trading-at-pbv-less-than-16x-and-pe-less-than-180x

May be you can select 4-5 counters and do some research by your own.

( IMHO may be you are new to the forum, but seems to be having a good exposure to the CSE)

I had a better hopes with BRWN and hold considerable qty at cheaper price. I am bit worried about their performance and their NAV could be mainly revaluation-I dont believe it. It could come 50-60 level if mkt continues worser, in my opinion.

Plantation sector- waste of money at present condition (I have bit hopes with Kota but not at this price). When mkt move up plantation also follow the trend, but u could make more profit if you follow other diversified holdings.

FLCH- that is plantation co. hydropower is rubbish...

I think u may need to wait till December to buy. Not a good time ahead.......
