For the last few months it was steady around 107.00-113.00. I found no special reason for the down trend other than going through the normal share cycle.

Poor results, poor dividend pay out, unlikely target for a take over and company is mostly private property of one individual. why should anyone park money in such a vehicle.

That's true. But i cannot believe it will trigger such a quick down fall. There must be something else behind. Question

If any party related to Harry and group, then sales or buys need to be informed to the CSE, isn't it?

It will be interested to note who is the buyer is? I don't think HJ will sell this, anybody has the idea about today's foreign transactions!

Yes even all the business pages also keep quite about the news of who is the buyer? Because if the buyer was connected to HJ then announcement is due, so it seems somebody else is getting into it

Saw in deleted that it may be a Govt. fund that bought SPEN stock...after dip to 95, it seems to heading back up..103 now...I'm with WSJ_LK, is it good time to collect?

I know that the performance of the power sector is the big question, hence the poor results last year..but this can't be the reason for dip because this was known in 2012 itself. The correction can't be taking this long to happen.

Looking at fundamentals, hotels and travels seem to be doing good compared to other players, investments in CINEC and pursuing overseas port management like in Fji also seem strategic and have the potential to bring good returns.  The new printing facility is also in operation. So there seems to be growth.

SPEN has also advertised a new venture for "retirement community"...any thoughts on this? Also on the RIU hotel project? seems to be new business models altogether.

My only worry is the vulnerability in power sector. Hemas has the same issue.

Insights will be appreciated...want to make use of the opportunity if sentiment is good on longterm growth
