its depend. if last quarter profit 3.5 - 4.0 Rs per share I think Lioc will reach to over 70 Rs. near future.

if 2 - 3.5 Rs per share. I think its breaking 56 near future.

this is prediction only.

Wait & see the market behavior. After long time it started to move. With the market almost all the shares will move before starting their own journey.
Premature exit also is a cost.

Agree, that's what I feel funny about stockback comment.People still trying to applying Technical and Fundamental things. It's somewhat valid.
But now it's sentiment which is running the game.
Prices will be decided by players behind each share. Very Happy

I have a simple value formula, wherein I assign weights to financial performance parameters that matter to me:
(5 x EPS) + (0.6 x BVPS) + (10 x DPS)

For LIOC, the numbers work out as follows...
(5 x 10.77) + (0.6 x 28.79) + (10 x 1.00) = Rs 81.12
My conclusion: Despite its currently elevated price, LIOC appears to be a worthy candidate for investment. However, I would do further analysis (fundamental and technical) before investing in the share.

there is no funny. if business does not make money then cannot go up. it should be go down. everything is depend on earnings,
demand and Game.

please comment properly and try to respect to other people.
no earnings then share price not going to up. LIOC make good profit during last 6 quarters share price move 18 --> 39
if we got very good report for last quarter then share price will be jump to 55-70 range with high demand. LIOC completed difficult task. now there journey is smooth. everything depend on last quarter report(I mean speed of going up)

Since you use earnings to promote LIOC slowly you are not seen the reality in CSE.Not even loss making companies but companies not operating the share price has gone up.Can you remember binn hitting 300+,So you can't say companies performance 100% related to share price.
That happens in ration, liquid and in markets with rational players only.

You are 100% correct. there is big different trading and investing. trader can sale anything using there marketing strategies.
I am talking about proper investing. Investor never looked on dummy stocks. Investor looking at the fundamental (Earnings, Growing, other opportunities..)
You are talking about CSE and Behaviors, I am talking proper investment.

If I am wrong please wait two months then you will see answer.

I'm thankful I didn't sell at Rs.36 thinking there will be a correction Smile I will hold on until such time I see global oil prices playing a negative part.

How times have changed on LIOC interest and promotions. When LIOC was Rs 15-18 I remember so many discussion we had saying that it is dead cause and share.

Now look at the interest. Life is all relative isn't it. Anyway good luck to LIOC and all CSE shareholder ( except the few who like to hold utter crap only expecting miracles always)

LIOC keeps talking about the refurbishment of the oil tanks - if so there would have to be a rights issue around the corner

Otherwise they can continue to drag their feet!!

The storage tanks are just a strategic move by India and in my opinion does not have an impact on the profitability of LIOC. SL govt also needs LIOC at the moment as they dont have to forkout forex for the oil supplied by lioc. If mannar basin yields liquid, then may be Lioc could become vulnerable. Iran sanctions easing is probably going to bring down crude this year, US might also change its 1970's law against oil exports, creating further downward pressure. But still a cyclone , a strike, a revolution an earthquake can make a mockery of predictions.

Early last year when forum was trying to identify the runners for 2013, Alchemist suggested that LIOC could be the dark horse for 2013. It was trading at 18/ - 19/ at the time. Hats off to you.

I exited at 26/= without the dividend. Don't have the guts to enter now. One lives and learns.

Yeah..truely said. now they have put on the "Green light" and people are chasing behind the rally.
These highly influential people have collected and they are ready cash in the profits when shares are trading at highly unrealistic values.
I hope this would never be the same as 2011 bubble  Question

With the drop in global crude oil prices, this company has potential.
