SIL - Manufacture & export of unhardened vulcanized rubber products reached a high of Rs 155/- on the 20th of April 2011. Volume on that day was 166, 600 and the total number of available shares as at 31/12/2010 is 3,847,974 and only 17.71% of shares available to the public. It has an asset value of 93.38 as at 31/12/2010. Could this share reach Rs 200 within another 3 months?

Last nine months EPS is negative Rs9.49. Rubber price increasing going to effect to this company in this quarter too. As of latest interim report. already rubber based manufacturing companies REXP, DIPP and TYRE have effected.

However it's interesting to see Mr. T.S. Salim is in the top 20 share holder list as at December 2010. Wink

Hi npp/tubal,

Another evidence that this salimts has been using this forum to promote his shares.

In this post he is trying to promote SIL and interesting again in the top 20 list that same person who appears in MSL top 20 list appears again with 10,900 shares. Follow the link to latest financial report.

http://www.cse.lk/cmt/upload_report_file/684_1297426098.pdf

So what is the connection between this salimts and Mr. T.S. Salim who appear in both reports?

Qubi and the Mods - I hope you will give your due consderation to this matter!

StocksWatch, Monster, Npp, great findings.

TS Salim of the SIL and MSL top 20 shareholders list, you might want to study MarketWatch's method a little bit more

If a guy is in the top 20 shareholder list I am sure he believes that it is a good investment. Such person will always talk about his own conviction and try to justify his/her decision to invest in that stock. When you over do it it becomes a promotion. It is practically not possible for us to identify personal shareholdings of members and even if it is possible, we would not want to take that route. Coz any one could create a name of a top 20 shareholder and promote a share just to discredit the actual shareholder.

To us what is important is whether any recommendation made by a member is backed by credible analysis and reliable source or information. If a person is promoting a share, members can report his post, give him negative votes, deletion of a post entirely lies with the moderators of this forum. Usually deletion of a post and banning of a member it the last option. Also I believe that as fellow members we should educate wrongdoers and show them the correct path. It is very easy to criticize, ridicule and ban a member.

There were many members who were guilty of promotions who had now become more respected member of the forum.

Let's help each other!!!
