This is seriously under valued at the moment. Currently trading at all time low price. However their nett asset value is 33.70 and also government bought this at Rs32.00
Their revenue increase significantly during last year.

CHOT were spending money on refurbishment. Please check their financial reports.
There was a big seller at chot and hes almost done now.

To answer your question , yes.

The objective of my question was to see whether you are also doing it. I guess you are not from your answer. Without proper knowledge don't buy and also mislead people. I usually do not go direct on my replies but now see a lot of crap in this forum and very disappointed , it used to be a good place to come and chill with some educated people on stock market.

Then you will categorise Carson as a crap. That is one of the biggest companies in Sri Lanka.
If you have some free time check the annual reports of CHOT and see if its a crap.

Everybody will talk about their stocks. So skyfall have done some study. I have taken meals from some of the rest houses. Food are delicious. Skyfall have you been to one of their hotels recently? How about food they eat? Look when tourist numbers become double. This company has future. Long term play is the best.

What do you people think about CHOT at 14.10? This was trading above 35 at once and government funds bought it for Rs 32 each.
Revenue has increased quite a lot and they start making money as well.

KHC which comes under CHOT is currently building a 120 bed $12m worth hotel behind Swiss hotel and this new hotel start operation from September 2014. KHC has 50% stake of this new hotel (OZO).

Its really disgraceful to see some old members straightaway condemn new posters.

Good times ahead with all the bargain hunters of CHOT. The big seller is slowly disappearing. Still trading more than 50% discount to nett asset value. It will rise significantly after new hotel start the operations from September.

Already up more than 10% from rock bottom price. If management decide to delist then this can go above 25. If not go time ahead with new hotel and renovated existing hotels.

As I said this is a mid and long term play.More tourists will eat in their hotels in the future. These hotels will have to build up reliable customers to supply quality food items including fruits and vegetables. Indirect industries such as food, airlines and transportation industries too will have more business when hotel business expand.

An investor should avoid qualitative evaluations without justifications like above. He should be careful enough to see promotions and genuine reasons. Valuepick and skyfall has been promoting this share in many places in the same forum. Early we saw some warnings come to this kind of promotions even it is based on a valued company... I think administrators should keep an eye and openly intervene on such promotions. I can remember earlier when there were efforts to show too much on TJL there were warning s for the members.

Genius and safe guard of small investors, can u come up with any share that small investors can make money?
Whoever bought this at 14.10 are now sitting at least 12% profits.

If we dont talk about stocks then what should we talk in an equity forum. Family life?
