Anybody who has gained a better return from Janashakthi (JINS) through Dividends and Capital Gains.Would like if members can share some of their personal trading experience.

In general many stock brokers recommend JINS as a good pick for small timers.Last year JINS Board members and management had also said the same.

Eg- if you have gained a capital gain with JINS appreciation and fluctuation trend during the last few years whilst earning the dividend income too.

It will be good for new traders to learn.

Company was listed on 21st July 2008
IPO 33 Mn shares offered at Rs.12 per share on 16th June 2008

Share Issue History Prior to Listing

Record of Share Issue                         Issue Basis               No of Shares

2006 31st December 2006                                                   27,500,011
2007 Bonus Issue - 30th March 2007       1:3                         82,500,033
2008 Share Split - 28th March 2008        1:2                        220,000,088
2008 Initial Public Issue - 16th June 2008                               33,000,000
Total                                                                              363,000,132

JINS Dividend History:

2008 - Rs.0.50 per share
2009 - Rs.2 per share
2010 - Rs.1 per share
2011 - Rs.1 per share
2012 - Rs.1 per share
2013 - Rs.2 per share in Total (Rs.1 per share First Interim/ Rs.1 per share Final)

If Someone Invested in IPO in 1000 shares in 2008 at Rs.12 per share

Total Cost Rs.12,000
2008 Dividend = Rs.     500/-
2009 Dividend = Rs.  2,000/-
2010 Dividend = Rs.  1,000/-
2011 Dividend = Rs.  1,000/-
2012 Dividend = Rs.  1,000/-
2013 Dividend = Rs.  2,000/-

Total Dividend = Rs. 7,500/- (Within 6 years)
Which means investor would have recovered almost 62.5% of the Capital Commitment he made.

However if 10% is being deducted as With Holding Tax Real amount Recovered is Rs.6,750/-

It is 56.25% recovery of Original Capital Commitment

Company has not issued any Rights, Bonuses since the date of listing.

Now only I realized it is also a dividend company.  I don’t know that there are plenty of dividend companies and dividend  champions in the CSE.

Some of the companies which declared interim, second and final dividend recently. That means some are declaring three dividends per year.

There was an explanation from LOH, to the charts from smallville (Fake/real). What happened to that, it's missing now? Is it deleted?

For me it is one of the totally failed IPO before the market boom in 2009-2011.. still trading below the IPO prices with market indexes increased by over 200% from 2008-2013..

Looks like unnecessary questioning is not allowed in the new balanced forum. All difficult to answer posts are immediately deleted as per new by laws.

Decoupling of Life and General sectors would surely give a boost to JINS share price!

Can you please explain what the graph say. When you just post this way nobody understand what it is about. Anybody can put graphs or look at them but interpreting is the important thing.
