TYRE has the potential to improve performance in coming Qtrs. The justification that this well perform in future is

- It produces 50% of the countries tyre requirements
- Invested 950mn to expand in to other tyre segments, which would increase their revenue and mkt share
- Increased capacity by 30%
- Falling rubber prices , which can improve margins

Look at the EPS Growth. This is going to be a future winner

EPS Growth
2009/2010 : Rs.2.60
2010/2011 : Rs.3.24
2011/2012 : Rs.3.72
2012/2013 : Rs. 5.51
2013/2014 Annualised : 7.97

Human beings need food and drink. Animals need animal feed, Vehicles need tyres. How to run cars without tyres?

There are many different ways to value stocks.

Valuation based on fundamentals….. intrinsic value of the stock, based on predictions of the future cash flows and profitability of the business.

Discounted cash flow (DCF) method, involves discounting of the profits (dividends, earnings, or cash flows.

Stocks have two types of valuations.

The fundamental valuation.=this type of valuation methodology is P/E ratio

The other way stocks are valued is based on supply and demand.

Future Value of business more than five times: Worth to look for

My apology if my writing similar to anybody. I did not copy. Just read others writing and learnt

This  is pathetic.   Atleast quote people you  learnt from. (you are plagiarizing ideas to pretend you know)

You come to the forum on Feb 25th, make 100s of posts amazingly  with no real knowledge which is obvious to anyone, plagiarize from others and  now run for president elections.

Is this what the forum has become?

Anybody who uses brains can see what is going on here. Very sad.

Did you note the all time high price of TYRE? What was the NA value of TYRE same period? If you look at that the current EPS justifies the value

My broker also today recommend Tyre @ current price 51.

He said company P/E is less than sector P/E.

With few quarters we can't predict the future.

Same thing happening to LIOC.

Certain Broker Companies recommended a buy with a analysis, highlighting the same points as mentioned above..Even before the news paper article got published, some people started collecting it from 51 to 54. It has been consistently brought up from 39-42 then 45-50 , 58-55 then then 53-57 soon this will break 60

True .. If you havent bought it at 45-50, yes you havent anslysed it and fair enough to raise that question..But the point is those who took the bold decision at 45-50 are the winners...Now if it breaks 60 and reach another level we shouldnt ask the same question at 70...Because it has a high probability to end the EPS around 7.5-8.00. What do you think of those who cleared the big quantities, are they looking for just a Rs.5 gain?

good share...I sold them recently. I knew it go pass 55
this is coming down in future. Rubber prices should go up now. then TYRE coming down. I bought KOTA recently. because it was all time low.

The below article will prove what is the fact
Tyre makers the big winners from rubber price slump
http://in.reuters.com/article/2013/10/31/india-rubber-idINDEE99U0DN20131031

But to a certain extent you are correct with a vague phrase " future" ..i.e it can be after another 2-3 years
