TAFL Has said they don’t want to declare dividends as they are planning capital investment in the year 2014.
As the Company is planning for capital investment in
the year 2014, the Board of Directors believe it would
be prudent to refrain from declaring a dividend for the
financial year ended 31 December 2013. We sincerely trust
that our shareholders will understand and appreciate our
decision which we believe would help the Company to
better its performance in the coming year.
Positioned for Planned Progress
Recent developments in the infrastructure facilities in
the hotel sectors have resulted in a boom in the tourism
industry. This has positively contributed to the hospitality
sectors and enhanced the GDP. We were able to foresee
these trends and noted there is potential for expansion in
the poultry industry. We are geared to meet these demands
and will endeavour to capitalise on the opportunities.
Being the market leader we intend to maintain our
position by enhancing our strengths. Noting the profits
made in our Commercial Broiler Farming we will continue
to make improvements. We expanded our broiler capacity
in keeping with the market for our product. We will
continue to invest in Environmentally Controlled Broiler
Houses to increase our total capacity and improve the
quality of the Live Broiler. This is a continuous and ongoing
process. In order to maintain our market leader position
in the breeder segment we will continue to upgrade our
hatcheries with state-of-the-art equipment which will give
us the necessary edge to keep ahead of the competition.
We are confident that with these improvements and
modifications TAF can look forward to a very progressive
and profitable future.
According to above description are they market leader for entire industry or market leader for one area of poultry? Because BFL also has large poultry farms. They are going to start animal feed factory. Is it a good decision to buy BFL instead of TAFL? Cheers.
