Minister of Education, Bandula Gunawardane speaking at the launch of the ‘Construct 2014’ at Galadari Hotel said this is the first time the Ministry awarded a building contact of this nature to an Association. “Over 1,000 Mahindodaya Technical Centres have been built so far and only three complaints have been received about the quality of construction. I believe that the next 250 centers that would be built by the NCASL would be flawless.” Each centre will be built with three floors and each floor will have laboratories for various subjects. “The Ministry will invest separately to equip laboratories.”
Minister also said that for the first time the Ministry will be introducing three technical and engineering subjects to students and this would help to create more skilled workers to the country.”
