Recently I saw a message going around from a Stock Brokering Company (A broker), that the market is in over bought situation and can get a correction soon, therefore advising to take some profit.
I normally dont believe in these guys. But i was wondering, even before this message, what are the possibilities for the market to go up or come down further

- 2015/2016 going to be another boom period as the US and China data showing some positiveness, but this has its negativeness too as US has announced its plans to end the extraordinary stimulus programme in October based on its growing economic data

- Is it just a push before the maximum profit taking and a worse crash later

- Earlier Foreign investors left CSE stating that Market PE is very high, so what is the state if it goes to ASI 7000

- If we take individual companies, have they improved performance, or is EPS and PE showing positiveness for a further growth

Fill in with your thoughts and advises

HE

SriLankas foreign reserves shows a healthy level of $8.9bn, but it consists 76% of it in the form of short term foreign commercial debt. I explained above of US plans in October where we can expect a US Interest rate upward movement. which will affect us. So we cant sustain these interest rate levels.

Well, I'm not worrying about the indices/market. I only care about the relevant company chart itself...

Foreign investors are very sensitive investing in this part of the world the business environment is not consistent at the level they expect. Heavy influence from western nations over developing & underdeveloped countries in Asian region is ever increasing in order to balance the superiority with regional advanced nations. Foreigners permanent foot in the market is susceptible. Economic growth in west together with positive diplomatic relations strength the local markets & any variations do affect the regional economic climate. At present, most of companies are over the break even level enjoying the low interest rates prevailing. Increase of banks credit to private sector with minimal spread will be another push to the market as high returns are visible in the market.
