Out of academic Interest, Does ASPI increase with each new listing of companies..?
Because ASPI=Total market capitalizationX100/Base market capitalization
Thanks.

If Lucky yoghurt trades at 6.3 the total market cap on top will get adjusted by that while the base market cap will get adjusted by 6 (which is the IPO price)
ASPI will only increase by the increase/decrease in the listing price compared to the IPO price

I also have similar question as stevenapple..
What about rights issues? Rights issues get new capital in to companies and increase the market capitalization of the company. Isn't it?
But this is not really a growth by business activities..
Does rights listing increase ASPI..?
And does ASPI include non voting shares and warrants etc.?

Rights will be similar to an IPO with the rights issue price being the same as the IPO price and how the rights trade on the first day being the same as how an IPO trades on the first day.
Non voting are included as they are included in the market capitalization.
Warrants trading like JKH.W or crap 13.w are not included in the ASPI but if the warrants get converted then the situ is similar to a rights.
