Hi Guys, This is something what I thought about the company Since it is Going for Liquidation. Normally in a Liquidation we will not be able to recover the investments as we planned, and also the Tree owners might Loose large amounts of their investments if not entirely, And they are not considered as Creditors if they Own the Trees. And the Commitments or the Buy Back Agreements  might be considered as a contingent liability. And then Some Tree owners can go for Litigation against the Liquidation again. These are all the possibilities.

But, Is it Possible that,

1. Existing Tree Owners ( Investors ) get together and Convert their Investment to Capital. With out Considering the Biological Asset Value
2. Then the Company will Have a Large asset Value with Less Liability. And then the Tree owners Association can Have the Control of the Company.
3. Then they Can Appoint a Professional Board of Directors and a Good Credible Management Teams to the Company.
4. After that Existing Investors or a Single large Investor Could Come in to pay for the parties that who have filed the Case. Or even he can join the Team
5. Once the Litigation case is settle Company can go for a Rights Issue to raise capital for the Working Capital requirements.

Assuming their Trees are in Good or average condition there will be a good stock of Trees to harvest in the Future. Company can have their Own Mills, or even factories to produce end products. Liquidations normally don'd do any good for companies. But i feel Touch-wood can be Saved. But not with the Existing Management. We need some honest Credible People with good integrity. this is something we could look at.

We must urge the liquidator to allow trading of this share provided that all investors are aware of the current status of the company.

Who knows another ADAM brother may come and rescue the company by pumping lot of black money.

If Liquidator could file its account as required by the CSE listing regulations and such information is properly disseminated to the investor public, then I do not see any problem for CSE or SEC to allow trading of Touchwood Shares.

By doing this you are allowing the risk taker to come in whilst risk averse investors may exit. Would you know how much would be the final value that would be left to the shareholders after liquidation. Share price would be the speculation of that value?

I don't see anything wrong in this and the topic is open for further discussions.

1. Who know's the company structure. (overseas and local) and the jurisdiction.
2. Where are the last audited balance sheet with line by line.
this could be a starting point.
