The concern was huge no of shares held by the retailers and small increase in the price increase will lead to supply of shares to the market

Holding on to RICH is going to make us rich in what way? Divinends or Share Value?

What has the biggest impact on the RICH bottom line ? Retail trade, rubber products or plantations ?
I know if I dig up earlier threads I can find the answer, but that would take me ages to figure it out as I am not finance or maths savvy. Would be much obliged if I get a brief answer,
Thanks

Was that a stupid question ? In my understanding of that discussion, Plantations have a significant impact on bottom line, but does not say which sector is the main contributor !

Yes I did see, but it does not say what sector (retail,manufacturing or other) is the main contributor.

factFINDER wrote:Actually what do you think about RICH Q1 results????
Last time just just before releasing the results it had a run, but results was not up to expectations! it came down from 16 to 13.
RICH largely exposed to;
Plantation : Rubber rich KGAL, Oil palm rich MAMU, Tea rich MASK
Retail & Distribution : Arpico Super Centers, Arpico showrooms
Rubber & Plastics : Tyre, Plastishell tanks etc .... where largely exposed to increased raw meterial price - Rubber, Electricity ... etc
Services : Logistics, Stockbrokering (newly entered), Insurance ... etc (very small contribution)
According to last Q reports;
Strong perfermance was shown in PLANTATION & RETAIL
9 month -- EPS 0.70 (improved from 0.13)
3 month -- EPS 0.33 (improved from 0.21)
Divident paid 0.20 per share (from 0.0)
NAPS - 2.41
Any prediction please![]()

Rich's plantation sector has performed well in Q4..... KGAL, NAMU have done well....Even Maskeliya has made profit....
The overall EPS will most probably pass 1.15 mark
