RICH.n is one of the famous counter in diversified holdings sector..but it has big volume in CSE. So upward or downward trend will make by some news. But when considering current movement it seems like some good result is in pending..! Any way it is a good counter to medium to long term run..Don't worry dude hold it..! Smile

interesting. there's one order at 19.90 covering almost half of the sell side. when you remove that impossible sell order, the order book will look completely different.

This is the one of the share i hold for long term, will plan to do so in future as well, in the personal opinion of mine i think it has the opportunity for growth because of recent aggressive expansion of the retail trade, entrance to the stock brokering, the facility obtained by mortgaging future credit card sales, the reduction in the interest rates etc

The concern was huge no of shares held by the retailers and small increase in the price increase will lead to supply of shares to the market

Yes their split was too much liquidity ( 15 share for 1). This is a good coutner a blue chip I also holder for medium to long term.

RICH has been stangnant for a while right? Long time I guess when you see the past records.?

Holding on to RICH is going to make us rich in what way? Divinends or Share Value?

RICH is likely to give good dividends, b,cos large volume is held by Dr. Sena Yaddehigala.When he needs money, the management might declare dividends as does by Schafter's family. We discussed this relationship of ownership and dividend pattern in a another thread

What has the biggest impact on the RICH bottom line ? Retail trade, rubber products or plantations ?

I know if I dig up earlier threads I can find the answer, but that would take me ages to figure it out as I am not finance or maths savvy. Would be much obliged if I get a brief answer,
Thanks

Was that a stupid question ? In my understanding of that discussion, Plantations have a significant impact on bottom line, but does not say which sector is the main contributor !

If you wish to give someone + or - rep look to the right side of the box whether the post is made . There should be a + sign for positive or - or minus which you can click if you wish to give reps.

Actually what do you think about RICH Q1 results????

Last time just just before releasing the results it had a run, but results was not up to expectations! it came down from 16 to 13.

RICH largely exposed to;

Plantation : Rubber rich KGAL, Oil palm rich MAMU, Tea rich MASK
Retail & Distribution : Arpico Super Centers, Arpico showrooms
Rubber & Plastics : Tyre, Plastishell tanks etc .... where largely exposed to increased raw meterial price - Rubber, Electricity ... etc
Services : Logistics, Stockbrokering (newly entered), Insurance ... etc (very small contribution)

According to last Q reports;
Strong perfermance was shown in PLANTATION & RETAIL

9 month -- EPS 0.70 (improved from 0.13)
3 month -- EPS 0.33 (improved from 0.21)
Divident paid 0.20 per share (from 0.0)
NAPS - 2.41

Any prediction please Very Happy Very Happy

Rich's plantation sector has performed well in Q4..... KGAL, NAMU have done well....Even Maskeliya has made profit....
The overall EPS will most probably pass 1.15 mark
