If we analyse bull markets in the past, banking sector has led the rally. They have started initial rally in the market. This time too we saw initial uptrend from banking and finance stocks such as SAMP, NDB, DFCC, HNB, COMB, SEYB, CFIN and LFIN etc. In addition we also saw some initial strong uptrend in secondary stocks such as PMB, MBSL, PLC, UBL, PABC and ESL etc. Exception is JKH. One of the market leaders in the market. Gradually we saw trend in other sectors such as diversify, Power and energy, hotels, manufacturing, food and beverages etc. As a result of this trend, we saw some uptrend in stocks such as HHL, TKYO, LGL, EXPO, SPEN, REXP, TYRE, TAFL, GRAN, PALM, AEL and few more stocks.
Recently from during last quarter the attention has also shifted to the plantation sector especially for tea related stocks. There is a great demand for undervalued tea stocks now. We are also seeing demand for illiquid stocks and some of illiquid stocks have become active stocks such as SUN and REXP. Other illiquid stocks will have more liquidly as long as we see continuity of major up trend. As I said before we should get confirmation for bull market before September. We have to wait and see. It is time to analyse attractive sectors on the basis of estimated earnings and industry outlook in the coming quarters and years. Ideas are welcome. Good luck!

Hotel sector will start the run soon..indi009 wrote:As you all know most of the finance companies have already moved 50-70%. So there's very little room for higher price increase in short term. In other words finance sector rally is almost in the declining stage as far as I feel.
