Who will collect it first?
If Softlogic increase it above 50% remaining will be less than 3%. If malayshian company increase it above 50% remqining will br less than 5%

i think the company has a 2 billion inventory and hence the loss in last quarter. They will sell this at discount to market and that will create more losses. I sold my odel which I bought at 20.50 today at 22/- as I see no future for this company. Also with an iconic person like Otara leaving is not that great!

Iconic person like Otara and Gunawardene made strategic mistake with wrong expansion strategies. They couldnt capitalise on the success of ODEL, and since its there fanily business, couldnt think above it.

I somewhere explained that House of Fashion also made a strategic mistake. If you check internally you will find out.Mistake of a value retailer becoming a high end fashion retailer

I think Pathirage & Parkson are better fit, synergy effects will come in.

Otara is the icon of the ODEL, how can we think about odel without her... Sad

she is a such a exemplary character worked through out her life to take the name of ODEL to world class.
And we personally respect her not only as a business woman but her charitable works for animals especially the orphans, sick dogs...
