Further if we analyse in depth, we see in comparison to Newly Registered Voters, Registered Voter turnout has been increased, which means those did not vote in 2009 have cast their votes this time. Is it a sign of a change about to take place ..... Sajith & Anura able to muster this -Wipakshayata Jayawewa....... Especially Ranil should think twice about trouble makers and those dragging him down for petty political issues by Wije & Ravi Company.

Finally - Ranil W should Run for presidency and nominate Sajith for Prime Ministership, as this will be the right choice....

We know what happened to Chandrika -Inexperienced can be catastrophe to any governments especially like srilanka because of complications in UN and china & India issues.
Let Ranil Guide the Country (To handle International level and diplomacy tactics) and Sajith do the Development work in grassroot level, and follow his fathers footstep.
JVP too must be accommodated and given ministerial posts min 5-7 in areas they are very popular. some of UPFA automatically jump to rulling party

Srilanka will be a better placed with above ...... and revamp the constitution consulting all parties and solve all loopholes and make it transparency in all areas, strengthen Police Election Public service and Judicial system.

Do away with different laws to different religions and make it common to everyone.
And take firm steps to unregister all political parties such as SLMC TNA HelaUrumaya - We should not form any political party under religious name. For Srilanka UNP SLFP JVP more than enough.

In a country in which general people's mindset is still not advance and while they can be easily brain washed by hypocritical politicians and religious fanatics, parties representing minority community is essential.

The principle is "Majority rules; minority has to struggle for rights" for these type of countries. Can you imagine a Tamil or Muslim become the President or PM of SL in near future. Thus, at the moment a Sinhala Buddhist leader and minority parties are unavoidable, until Sri Lanka becomes advance in Humans development like in countries such as Scandinavians.

Further, criminal laws should be same to all. However civil laws such as marital affairs (divorce etc...), inheritance etc... should be according to their faiths. When all Sri Lankans become skeptics, then that also can be same.

I really appreciate some achievements (wining the war, infrastructure developments,...) of his excellency president. But i do not satisfy with usage of the golden opportunity created by himself by wining the cursed war. He could have used that opportunity much more better than this. This election results to rethink their actions deeply specially the misuse the power, corrupt, and establish the law and order.

Govt must understand the warning.The problem is no genuine advisers.

Sorry my prediction was out by a few seats.
With musical chairs taking place all the time in the UNP it's more difficult to invest in a particular party.

Ranil's clones were shoveled about at the last moment and the vote in the peoples minds were already placed before the Election Day.

That shows the importance of communicating the mandate and selected leaders upfront.

My feel is not to worry too much. The people who matters in keeping the market alive are not affected. Uva could be a reflection of peoples choice. But at present peoples choice is secondary. The rulers are making hay while the sun shines including top notch stock marketeers. However my suggestion is get the best when you are at top, take your gains and stay by the side lines when the market drops.
