one of my favourite and most admired stock analyst innam once said this just prior to the 2010 pre election.

1.if you are sure Fonny is going to win the election , sell all your stocks and get out from the market.
2.if you are sure MR going to win, buy.
3)if you are sure Ranil is going to win, mortgage your house and buy
Now another election is coming. i am pondering what to do.
Can you guys please advise me?

MR will win so as per above u should buy stocks Smile

..all depends on Tamil votes in Jaffna. Like last time they ( politicians ) will decide on money so we know who has it ...

I don't think MR can win next elections without Thondaman

Thondman is the key. maybe he didn't know. bcz he does not have much political knowledge.

I have analyzed next presidential election situations.

MR has Main week point is (3rd presidential election and he already won two and people has plenty off problems now.)

Have you seen last election Postal vote results. Government got only 49% (Uva ) That is very danger signal for MR.

I think people going to believed Ranil but MR will give more benefits to People. he will try to get attraction
we cannot say anything until result out.

I sold all my shares before Mrs CB's second presidential election

Because i thought chandrika will win

After the election i was able to buy same shares at very low prices

My stock market friend ask why you are slling all shares

Even under Ranil level of corruption will be more or less same

So far they have not given any assurance

Now they must give assurance they will take s action against corrupt politician like in India

UNP economic management was successful only up to 1983
During this period they have fallowed free market economic policy and some residuals of policy followed by Dr N M
UNP mismanaged privatization program and tried to get maximum personal benefits The have to give assurance they will not repeat same

People need a change now
Ranil ans Pemadasa may have a good opportunity if they give assurance that they will not repeat same mistakes

This govt try get maximum benefit of war victory for the family relation and friends. Not for genuine supporters.

I was a genuine supporter of this govt in 2005 and 2010 elections and anti UNP from university days

Any way market will go up Because most of investors think investor friendly govt will come under UNP

If you think UNP will win, don't stop at mortgaging the house. Pimp whoever you can as well.

About time this govt. packs up. Utterly mismanaged. Go ask a lawyer and see if they can figure out the land law. Even they are not sure. There is no stable/same policy around investment.

UNP has performed extremely well historically on the Economic front and are known to be business friendly. I am sure there are a few rouges there also but it won't be to the level today and it won't be from the top either. Foreign money will be lining up to come in with a regime change.

I will vote for anyone who pledge to make just ,corruption free society , stop family favourism,stop posting relatives to top position, one who does not buy elected mps ,one who pledges to chase out relatives who make billions of losses to public by mismanaging public institutions. ie sri Lankan,.i will not vote to the one who give nomination ticket to the likes of the mp who attacked nonis. he can be either ranil or mr or sobitha thera.I will buy if some one who can create a just society is coming to power.

If Sajith is the presidential candidate then there is a fair chance for the UNP. If it's Ranil then sorry.com as usual.

The ruling party will use their influence, money and power to their maximum. There will be hora votes and counting manipulation as usual.

Can the President ask for the 3rd time by amending the law? Where is the democracy? This should be taken up in the Human Rights council.
