Hi Guys,

I joined the forum sometimes back. I started investing 3 years back and then stooped the trading due to time factor and mainly heavy losses I had to incur. Main error I did at initial phase of my CSE life was trying to follow non fundamental stocks like GREG, BLUE, SEMB, etc.

But recently, I again start trading. But again when I trying to start, the bus has already gone and again I am in trouble today after investing in below stocks.

CFVF - Entered around 53. (Though there are potential uptrend in near future, Now I feel I was too late)

DIAL - Entered around 12 (With the news of Etisalat acquistion, I though this will run - But now feel, again I am wrong)

CSF - Entered around 6.20 (Again in short term might be a wrong decision from my end)

I dont want to get very high return but at least 3% to 5% return from a share, I am expecting. But I couldnt understand how I should pick those. Yes, I know, it might be based on the valuation like PE ratio. But still, some runs happening for no reason as I understood.

I think, I have to change myself seriously and change my beliefs about the CSE in order to success. Otherwise, I might have to leave again might be forever.

Please advice me, though I have not posted here, I have been looking at your opinion most of the time I am having time.

Thanks in advance.

You have 2 options,
1. Wait for the market recovery and buy again the above shares and average the price for a minimum level. So that you can sell it once you feel your profit target have achieved.

2. Sell your P/F now and buy some fundamentally very undervalued shares such as CINV, GUAR.....etc. And sell it when you feel the time is right..

That is how I feel. I don't know the decision is yours.............

Further I don't think the prices you bought CFVF & DIAL are bad.........

Everyone bought these shares, and some are still holding. Only thing is overall market is down, otherwise these shares will shoot up.

Dont worry CFVF will move 60+ soon hold it.
DIAL- cant expect a big gain or loss. Its a one of the best low risk share. This is investors share.

CSF - I dont following that. Other members will help you

OSEA,CFVF,ESL... You can get good return soon

HHL,LIOC,KAPI also good

Plantation can move up, keep a eye on it

Dont worry you can get minimum 10% gain from CFVF.

Their are lots of shares we can get quick gains. If you can mention you average price then we can help better than this.

Please understand i give advise on personal & fundamental judgement & for the best interest of the advisee.

CFVF- Though you bought it @53/- it is one of the best stocks in CSE.It will have a major uptrend for sure. So hold.

DIAL- Good stock. But currently fairly priced. But please note there were some heavy foreign buying for this stock at these levels.I feel it will touch at least 13/- in the short term. One thing now days for some reason the share price of the acquirer is not moving upwards if you check recent acquisitions.

CSF- Speculative counter.Mostly on the downward trend rather than appreciating. But it saems the sale of CSF will happen to HNB. Personally i don't think they will pay more than 6/-to 7/- per share. But some say price is 10/-.

ADVISE

Hold CFVF as it will move pass 60/-
DAIL exit @ Break even at least if not more.
CSF cut in a upward market buy stocks such as LIOC,MAL,COCR,ELPL.

Don't worry bro... those all are emotions, read your post again, "I feel I was too late /But now feel, again I am wrong " You thinking that you was wrong, and your inner mind try to prove it comparing it with your past. Its natural, thats how your mind protect you from risks, called risk assessment of mind. Seems you loosing confidence.

May be you've entered ir-rationally, if you entered rationally you haven't much dealing with those emotions.
First, you've to build a confidence. So, stay close with SLEF, especially with technicals and charts sections, those target on low risk entry for triggers. Once Warren Buffet says, if you pick up stocks at right time, doesn't matter you're in profit if you sell even it in average price. I'm sure you'll exceed 30% per annum easily.
And, I think you better to study about risk and portfolio management. when you buy don't buy at once, collect 2 or 3 times when opportunities came. And, always, calculate your risk reward ratios, and stop losses before you jump in. And don't buy on rumors or others tell you to buy unless it fit your strategy.
If you think, you were wrong you could still sell at a small loss, I'm not telling to sell. Patience is the most important weapon of a hunter. I hope you're now familiar with fundamental analysis. Always, keep in touch with fundamentally strong stocks.
And, be a Hunter.

Remember, "Bulls makes money, bears make money while pigs're slaughtering. "
