Now i have a designation called Vice President - Equity Analytics And i think it is because i have posted 1,000 posts.

Which i am not agreed with  Shocked  Shocked therefor it should not be based on number of posts you put & the promotions has to be given on the quality of the posts, ability & the knowledge of the individual.

What my argument is any person can put 1,000 posts by typing & gesturing 1,000 posts should not be entitled for upgrading your destination.

Truly if someone really want he or she can post 1,000 posts with in a day saying anything.

So i believe this policy should be changed to enhance the value of SLEF.

Hope i am not making any trouble here OR putting anyone in trouble. I am raising my voice as i see great value in SLEF. Who ever made this or running this this is some product.

Just think- whatsapp, TWITTER as examples.They have value in globally on $ billions.

But this is not USA this is Sri Lanka (SL) thats allright.When looking at the bigger picture SL is a developing country & some developments had taken place & it will continuously happen.

CSE is doing it's bit to develop the market & they are very optimistic about future targets.So as far as i know this is the place for investors in equity, If needed other products can be discussed too and i don't know any sites available in SL if there is we have to enhance our standard.

If we can do that going forward the value of SLEF will increase for sure, which will open avenues for advertising by other companies isn't it.

Therefor the promotions of a members has to be given some thought.Where the people who has knowledge,experience,ability of accurate forecasting should only be promoted. Not when a member put 1,000 posts to be promoted as "Vice President Equity Analytics" number of posts should be one criteria only.I think this will benefit all the participants & viewers as a whole.

And more & more will get registered & will help the market immensely to grow.

Hope other brothers & sisters understand what i am commenting about. Where ultimately we all be benefited as at the point of making a decision (buy what, sell.........etc) it will be more accurate as at the end of the day everyone wants to maximise their return.  

Therefor shall we make SLEF a place of quality of value by looking at the broader view.

Congratz RPPA you are a really good adviser, keep it up as most of the members do not care about rank or point but name and reputation.
I'm not worrying about points or rank when I buy advices but the name and value of advise they provide. I believe scoring points would be very difficult since value of the post is subjective. I that case, it is better to give rank based on reputation. Smile

This is a standard features in which admin can setup a different ranks based on number of post by each member. In addition to this forum got a reputation system and many other métis to evaluate member credibility. All these are standard features that comes with the software. Changing the criteria is difficult. But it is possible to create special ranks for members based on any criteria of your choice. Admin can request such changes from the technical team based on forum management structure. Hope this explains.
