watch the pathetic situation that arose after CEB sent official to disconnect Electricity supply to Mangalaramaya Madakalapuwa. http://www.walpal.gossipelankanews.net/2014/10/floka-sh-xuu-ksodfhla-uvl-mqfo.html
This Hamuduruwo lost his temper and started shouting in improper way.But I think the way CEB acted is not good. This is the only temple in Batee. Hamuduruwo survived during  the LTTE period and made Temple to exist. Hamuruwos anger is very reasonable.
There are no much Buddhists in the area for daana and other means to generate income to pay electricity and develop the temple.
We sri Lankan Public Pay minister's domestic electricity bills amounting over 150 thousand rupees per month. They are the real electricity thieves. recently someone published keheliya and wimal home bills. you may remember how much paid from public money.

After seeing all these good and bad videos I decided to help this temple to get electricity back.
whenever you decide to spend money on charity please consider this temple too.

There is another temple in between vakarai & Lankapatuna named as " Pashana Pabbata Viharaya " where LTTE communication tower for voice of tigers was erected. Living in a container, he himself cooks, drives pick up, cleaning the temple garden spoiled by pilgrims. What I had seen & heard from the monk is terrible. No buddhists at all except hindu community in the area for alms giving. According to monk, he is fighting with others to keep live prehistoric inscriptions. What a life comparing to the rest.
