Who ever contest who ever win,this system should be changed if we want to go foward as a country. We have huge question of patriotism,ex LTTE leaders should bring before justis and SF should be given his rights.SL literacy rate is high but iq rate must be zero.

Women must be band going abroad as house.maids.
Law must be equal.
There should be a transeperancy in gov expenditure.
Education system must be changed according to morden needs reducing huse preasure on students.
Small and medium investors must protect and should give incentives.
Excess use of fertilizer must be minimised. We make fertilizer companies rich and general public sick.
We must attract FDI.

What ever said and done MR is in trouble...

Pleased don't forget you need 2/3 to do it. Can this fruit salad collation get 2/3. Some of the parties supporting Common candidate don't have more than 100 odd votes.

Thats why a common candidate is a must, preferred if its Sobitha Thera, or Ranil - He is a the Cleanest apart from Sajith in UNP

Supporting a common candidate does not mean that UNP/JHU/JVP will make a government together. I'm sure they will never. They come together for common reasons.

If the common candidate wins, they can easily get 2/3 to abolish EP. When MR is gone, everyone will support that. If they cannot find 2/3 to abolish EP even after the common candidate wins, there is something very wrong in our country.

Dear Shark , I admire you very much as a stock guru and a good human supporting others.

But I have to say this with due respect to you,

I can't understand how do you suggest a Buddhist monk to run our country in the 21st century.
abolishing EP is a myth without 2/3.

Also if you hope a corruption free country under UNP you are mistaken big time. You will agree with me if by any chance UNP wins.
Some think Chandrika is corruption free and I could not stop laughing .

This is not a cricket match we find a common candidate to defeat MR, what is next, Country needs to be governed, what policies ? which program?

What is needed is an uncommon candidate with a proper vision Like Mahatheer mohamad, Lee kuwan etc..

The Common Candidate under Sobitha Thera.... as stated by the respected Thera will be with specific Dates within which this will be changed.

SLFP/UNP JVP and JHU all agree on abolishing EP (only a handful corrupted Ministers in this Ruling Party want MR to be in Power so that they can steal Public Money) forget TNA and SLMC they are a laughing stock in Parliament.

So i dont think it will be an issue.....

Muslims & Tamils all moderate Minds will support Sobitha Thera or Ratana Thera, but not a Monk from BBS.

You need to understand that .... There is a big difference between BBS JHU or Sobitha Thera or Ratana Thera.

That will be a very good sign for Srilankans ......

Once the checks and balances are in place.... we dont care who rules Srilanka ....take India for an example

Also JRJ only check and balance was a president can rule only a maximum or 2 terms that is also removed through 18th amendment.
