#‎AiyoSirisena‬..Sirisena avoids voting to budget...neither against nor supporting...typical... The third reading of the 2015 Budget was passed in Parliament with a majority of 95 votes. 152 members voted in favour while 57 voted against. The United National Party, Tamil National Alliance and Democratic National Alliance voted against the budget. Six parliamentarians who crossed over to the opposition including MP Maithripala Sirisena and the MPs of Jathika Hela Urumaya were absent during the vote.

typical way to be on the safe side...because otherwise he can be accused of being until budget preparations.

Same thing UNP...they avoided parliament when casinos was approved.Instead they staged a protest.

In 2005 Chandrika's brother crossed back to UNP thinking JVP will vote against Mahinda's first Budget. But Budget voting time JVP avoided voting and UNP and Anura Bandaranaike was fooled.Go read back in history of Hansard.

This is the problem Sri Lankans get carried away by hype...

I am not supporting MR I am giving you clear understanding views.
