To justify my argument following may help. Where the following is the ASI change for month of DECEMBER.

2009 472 PTS up

2010 201 PTS up

2011 (13) PTS down

2012 292 PTS up

2013 137 PTS up

2014 ?

You all can make up your mind now. What you all have thought of. Surprised

Dec 2014 for me ASI up at by what margin is the question. Very Happy

The above is very strange isn't it. When the overall market sentiment is down December month is positive. Very Happy

There can be some rebound. However I am studying behaviour of few market leaders such as JKH, COMB and SAMP now. I am also following few stocks. We should get some idea about market direction from tomorrow onwards. Once we see usual market pattern we should become bullish in the short run again. However this market has more legs.

My congratulations!

Other thing is crowd behaviour. Something is telling me. By following crowd behaviour and crowd psychology we can become suddenly bullish or bearish.

Let your profits run in bull market. Cut your losses in bear market. I am going to sit and wait during next six to eight months while readjusting portfolio.

BTW I am waiting for further drop in rice, maize and soya bean prices. Then inflation will come down further.

RPPA, thank you! However some people claim december is a dull month due to holiday season. Election trouble might add to that. Not to mention many people withdrawing from market. If it works according to your calculation, tomorrow/ dec 1st should prove the turning point right? I hope your prediction comes true Smile

I don't think i will be able to get the ASI information for last 20 years. Otherwise i could have done it. But for the information of all i'll explain what had happen.

In all occasions when UNP comes to power market has gone up. All the other occasions when blue party candidate wins market has crashed down except the last Presidential Election Which MR won. On that occasion market went upwards & later hit all time high ASI more than 7800.

But for me in any case market should go up at the current scenario.

Next week is very important for the CSE.

I saw somewhere Sstar like AEL. Will it come down to around Rs.25 or around Rs.30?

I think at this stage it is crowd behaviour coming into play.
The bulls have let the bears take the floor for too long I feel.
Foreigners are bullish I feel. But the locals aren't.

Yes RPPA it will not come down below Rs.30 in this major uptrend. However in a bear market it can come down. We never know if some crowd suddenly start to sell. At the movement this crowded stock has some support. As long as support is there stock prices will go up. Best things that we can do now is identifying solid base for stocks. We should see solid base for stocks next week onwards. Accordingly we should get some decisions.

I think it may come down, if the market slow down or shake with political situation. But you never know. What I normally do is buy part by part when a share going down. Not as a bulk .( 1000@35LK, 1500@32, 2000@30, and if it comes to 25LK , 8000 LOL )
You never know what is the bottom in a market like this.
