that is the only question you can ask...is it...there was a time in Sri Lanka that people had to pay Rs.250 tax per ITN, Rs.250 tax per Rupavahini for each television till mid 1990's apart from a television tax that was on force...later it was canceled when people started complaining that Chandrika is misusing state media to tarnish Ranil Wickramasinghe's image with Batalanda videos those days.

You might have been small those days licking a milk bottle..go search for television tax history in Sri Lanka.
