Ranil has picked the cream of men to carryout the gigantic task of re-building Sri Lanka and its image world wide. Couple of them are Arajuna Mahendran International Banker and the other the most successful UN Official Jayantha Dhanapala, who was recently awarded the IPS Award in recognistion of the relentless work on nuclear disarmament.

Every move is directing to a positive future and in time to come we will have a very strong Stock Market. So, let us leave politics to the learned people and be educated on the market, because the future fundamentals are going to be very important. Cannot the authorities of the FORUM have a 3 months period as a first stage to educate the members to meet the challanges.?

Just a suggestion to make the forum more lively and useful. Cheers and good luck to all the members.

I see many comments against Ravi K.

Just reply 2 Q
1. Is he worser than previous Finanace Minister MR in economics?
2. Is there any proved or credible allegation against him?

Yes Teller and NZ I agree with you. We have to be constructive. As per the information about corruptions and murders and last moment coup, we are fortunate to see that the country was saved by nepotism.

I want to see independent commissions for good governance.

Now people are educated not to encourage corruptions and maladministration

Well the question here is, can we all unitedly agree that the country is economically in a well to do position.

We think so much prior to our investments, we technically analyses the situation, seek research info, ask questions and finally proceed with our acts. Now imagine what would happen if our decisions were purely relied on emotions.
If we had done so, Could we be here today making profits.
In simple that's whats happening to our country.

When we appoint individuals to office, We listen to what they have to say and blindly believe as if there were prophets. In the name of democracy and individual rights, we let even the illiterate take control of our lives (I am Not insulting them), and finally blame them for corruptions.

Truly achieved "Educations, Experience, integrity" (which was not bought for a price) these are the standards which should be set as the criteria for any individual to enter office and represent us in parliment.

If not we would see our reputed office bearers do the following things in parliament. use filthy words, fly paper rockets, burn papers, sleep, ect...

Chose wisely because, if not done you will be leaving a country that is corrupt for your children to live in, and don't worry about the children of your politicians cause they will be travelling in Farries and ours will be begging......
