After days of uncertainty in the market finally Harsha has asked Godahewa to step down. Every time Thilajk's name came up Market tumbled down but was stabilised with the news not been confirmed. Now the end game is near. Godahewa had agreed to step down at Harsha's insistence. With Thilak in no one can save the Market.
Harsha as an opposition MP had ben gunning for Godahewa and Company for a long time and was responsible at times for creating panic in the market. Last time when the Market was thriving it was Harsha and some newspapers who brought accusations against manipulators, stock market mafia and was eagerly awaiting the bubble to burst. I voted yahapalanaya and expected some sense to prevail.
The Government needs revenue to off set the cost of benefits to be passed down to the people.

Unfortunately by sacking Godahewa and bringing in Thilak Market is going to be doomed with loss of revenue to the state coffers.

do not worry, We changed the previous politicos for the their arrogance and selfish acts , we can change these people for the very same reason in coming election.

The important thing to realise is even if we(retailers) do like to take a quick profit most often we are fooled.
Even if there is no manipulation businesses do grow. So does the share price. So equity investment gives a fair return.
What is may be lost is the casino effect. Remember in casino it's the 'House' which always wins.. Others are excited about the possibility of a win..

2011 Mr Thilak Appointed to highly over value Market (around 27 P/E)
2015 Mr Thilak Appointed to value Market (around 19 P/E)
according to CSE.
at the moment BloomBerg (CSE) P/E is 13.43

Mr Thilak Is not big Factor. 2011 downtrun and Mr. Thilak Said Something about Mafia....
if Market is up he never say about Mafia....
He fails bcz of(Economy factors and Market is Over Valued in 2011)
we no need to scared about this matter. Our Economy getting strong. then we can get benefits from CSE.

Thilaks main task here isto reopen the investigations he started earlier and punish the manipulators so that investor confidence will be restored.

YEs I agree. What happened in the last time was that people under investigation created an unwanted panic in the market through media for the betterment of themselves but not ofr the investors. Remember the presentations that group did for MR and so on.
