Sri Lanka's No.1 Equity Forum Sri Lanka Equity to Focus a One Thread for Each Share listed on Colombo Stock Exchange, the country's only stock market.

Accordingly each member of this Forum will be able to discuss about each share in a more organized way apart from main important topics they need to clarify about a company or a matter related to a share.

Thus there are 296 number of Companies to date Listed on Colombo Stock Exchange and we will separately have a each thread to discuss on a particular share apart from main topics. This programme will help over 12,000 members of this forum decide in a more organized manner on a particular share set.

Eg- COMB.N Community will mean everybody who wants to discuss about Commercial Bank Voting shares under that topic. How ever other topics on the same share will also remain and members will be free to discuss on them.

This is the No.1 Democratical Stock Market Equity Forum that created a 'Capital Market Force' to implement Democracy in our Colombo Stock Exchange in a Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

I am an Independent Moderator of this Forum who has been there since January 2011 to date.

This is a very good suggestion. It is time to identify individual stocks separated from the market. Long term players should identify correct business to reap benefits in the mid and long run. Even short term players will have some opportunity in the market. We need to analyse interim budget to identify direction of the economy.

Positive factors:

Some key institutions are under experienced PM- We need experienced people to handle some key economic areas.
Lower oil and gas prices globally and locally will improve bottom line of all industries
There won’t be any disruptions to the tourism industry
Agriculture sector should get some boost
Peaceful transition in power. We should thank both earlier government and present government for this.
EPF, ETF and Sri-Lanka Insurance also could enter stock market sooner than later once present policy makers complete their initial ground work
Plantation sector should have bright future in the long run.
Unlike those days both governments are business and investment friendly

We should study other sectors again before we take decisions. New stocks in the Diversify sector, Agri and food, health and tourisms sectors should outperform others in the coming quarters. In addition to this, stocks in the value sectors also may have demand.

Have a prosperous stock market again in 2015 and 2016!

One thread for each Share?

I don't think that's a good idea. It should perhaps be one sub-forum for each share and a mega forum created called "All Share Discussion" or something along those lines.

Else imagine in a few months, how many pages of text you would have to go through just to keep yourself up to date? You wouldn't be able to sticky any important posts and the topic of the conversation would sway every few pages when there can just be one post per topic regarding that share.

Yes one sub forum can open as ALL share discussion or Sri-Lankan shares. On that forum should open threads for each stock listed in the CSE. This is very good time to find new emerging bull stocks.

Thank you. We will miss some great winners in the market if we stay away from the market and if we don’t study new trend in stocks especially in next emerging bull stocks for 2015 and 2016. We may have to say bye to some bull stocks in 2014(Sstar said bye to some stocks at the end of 2015) and we may have to welcome some winning stocks. I believe institutional investors such as Sri-Lanka Insurance, EPF and ETF may become active after interim budget. I think Sstar is studying market to pick stocks before others. Current bull market is having a pause due to short term issues. It is time to prepare for next stages of bull market.
