Tax is the revenue side of the budget. Borrowings are used to fund the balance between revenue & total expenses & capex if required. By doing all of what Ravi K proposes still budget deficit has increase by 149bn.

How do you think he is going to fund the increased budget deficit? If you are not borrowing from Suddas' or Cheena's then who are we going to borrow from?

The income sources RK will looking at a) KPs wealth b)Black money hidden oversees by MR family c) Defamative damages from Thissa, etc etc. They will come as we go.

But borrowing is not an option to finance day to day expenses. It has to be through daily revenue. If you borrow and consume you are finished. But if you borrow and invest then cash flow regeneration.

Equitychamp is correct. Borrowing and consuming is one thing but borrowing and investing is another thing.

We have been borrowing and consuming way before MR came into power.
