Now it is going down. Isn't it? Not all stocks are going down. Only selected stocks are going down. As long as major uptrend is intact we will have opportunities.

With 122 negative contributors, it seems like almost all the stocks are falling.

What about DIST and LION?
why are they going down?
Is it DP alone or All shares affected by the polices of this govt.?

You will see HHL, DIST, LION, CCS and the like going down soon.
Panic is setting in in a big way in the present market.

Evil or Very Mad

Everyone knows it is one off.

That doesn't reduce the concern that investors have what will happen in the future.
How can a company react and cover their targets for the previous year retorespectively. It can be for consumer prices etc but not one off after they have achieved their targets.

What message does it give to the investor confidence and freeness of doing business.
Are all businesses like casinos and drug pedlars?

I just heard over the news that one SUperintendent of Poice was caught transporting marijuana (Ganja) in Amilipitiya and now is in custody.

How will this country end up by year end?

There are steady stocks and even selling are in very small quantity. Mid and long term players no need to worry if they have correct business in their portfolio. We mainly see sell of in blue chips now. Small companies start as small and then they becomes big.
According to The "too big to fail" theory even big companies can become bankrupt.

VP,

Agree. You and I know that this is not the end of the world. Many shares good and bad have taken a dip and will recover.

Do you know that small time investors in the CSE make decisions in small and big companies. Their decisions and plans also take into consideration the polices that are being drafted and enacted.

So if the people sitting in big positions are disturbed it will certainly spill into their plans and strategies. That is the danger. may be their Top People would not be disturbed much, but their inputs are also taken into consideration. The execution of plans are done by people at the middle and below.

Yes. We have to learn lot of things. As small players our priority should be to safeguard our capital. Then we have another day to trade or invest in stocks. In some period it is better to cut losses. Later we can pick attractive stocks once market becomes very attractive.

Sometimes JKH can come down to Rs.150 level. That is the best support level.Rs.190 and 200 can have some support.

I dumped JKH due to many factors knowing that it will take a beating.
It was 180 not too long ago and gradually increased in value. Now will it go to 150 is a very good question and will take a lot of suspicion and insecurity for investors to dump below 200. But as you say it's very possible based on the contemporary shares performances. If it does go to 150, it is a BOLD statement to the powers that may be.affraid

I believe Lot of players will buy around Rs.150 level if its come down to that level. For margin of safety it is better to find new stocks now.
