It is also wise to indentify less appreciated stocks during last 12 months which are having their intermediate trend up. In addition, these companies should have some value plus earning potential. There are emerging companies as well. Many industries such as transportation, airlines, poultry, plantations, tiles, cables and other production oriented companies should reap benefit of lower oil, gas and other raw materials prices in the global and domestic market in the coming quarters.

Current period is one of the best periods to identify future winners. It is also the best period to readjust portfolio to get benefit from next wave in the current major uptrend.

In the next stages of current major uptrend new sectors and stocks should outperform others. At different stages of bull market different stocks and sectors will outperform the market. Short term traders will have less opportunity in a short term frozen or side way market. On the other hand value investors and sophisticated market players will get great opportunity in stocks that they  missed.

Yes.100% agree with you....

Due to temporary political uncertainty we can see more opportunities.

Most important thing is identifying future winning Stock / Sectors...

So now is the time to search for them...

Look for shares that came down but not craps. You can certainly make profits from them in this market.

I sold out my shares after election.
Now waiting to re enter the market.
At the moment, I am not interested in anything.
Investing is not gambling.
You have to enter and exit at the right time.

Don't buy anything now. Share values are going down the pallam since Tilak Karunaratne came. My portfolio lost 25% of its value. Keep an eye on the market if you have nothing else to do. If you get some confidential information that TK is going start buying. Any share will be good after he goes.

It is better not to buy worthless stocks like PCH, CIFL, BLUE in a continuously dipping market.

Focus on collecting fundamentally sound growth and under-valued counters.
