Remember that he resigned on 9th January 2015 from the post of Chairman.....wonder why??

Also resigned was Mrs Roshini S Cabraal from the post of Deputy Chairman..

So the Chairman and the deputy chairman resign at the same time

It is general practice for political appointees to resign their from their public posts when governments change.

True. But it is bad practice appoint friends and relations to high places and fleece these institutions. MR regime was anyway reeking of corruption from top to bottom.

You should bear in mind that even your current President is a former "goon" of MR. Your Prime Minister has been accused of concentration camps (Batalanda) and unpatriotic slaughters against his own people (Milllenium City). Your Finance Minister is a well known larcenist who has debunked several state owned businesses (Sathosa) and is accused of siphoning money to and from now jailed terrorist funding billionaire Raj Rajaratnam.

Even this current regime does not stand up for what it has promised. Why else would Mahendran be allowed to leave the country and the THREE MEMBER committee appointed to investigate him consist of Pro UNP loyalists?

This is a third world, developing country. That's the way the cookie crumbles. Get over it.

I am surprised people who are on this forum believe this crap. Dr Neomal Perera who complained about Forties Buying LHP doesnt understand that was a private transaction between an Indian Company and Mr Harry Jayawardana where 28% f shares exchanged hands. The stupid Doctor thinks its hospital shares Gota sold or bought.
