Basil Rajapaksa Back in Sri Lanka, No Confidence Motion against Lalith Athulathmudali's Cashier turned Raj Rajaratnam's former Cashier now Harry Jayawardena's Cashier turned Ravi Karunanayake the Finance Sector Manipulator...Stock Market goes up with investor confidence on 'The Hopes Return of Proper Investment Climate'

Maithripala Sirisena will fully back with his SLFP votes in favour of the 'No Confidence Motion against Sri Lanka's Lalith Athulathmudali's Cashier turned Raj Rajaratnam's former Cashier now Harry Jayawardena's Cashier turned Ravi Karunanayake the Finance Sector Manipulator who once robbed 'Sathosa' in large with Lal Wickrematunge as Sathosa Chairman (The Brother of Former Sunday Leader Editor Lasantha Wickrematunge) and Commece Department via a useless Software Product on Electronic Cargo Documentation which was partly owned by Capital Maharaja group and Carsons Cumberbatch PLC that was introduced to Sri Lanka in 2001-2004 UNP Regime...

That time the Capital Maharaja, Carsons group owned Sri Lankan made Electronic Cargo Documentation software under a company called e-Services Lanka that was used by Sri Lanka's Customs as an unnecessary extra one (apart from using ASYCUDA the world recognized system that is used by Customs around the globe). That time eServices Lanka had its Chief executive officer Vinesh Athukorala (Brother of present Maithripala-Ranil regime appointed Sri Lanka Tourism Chairman Rohantha Athukorala) to head the company.

Guruji, I am not a henchmen, people like ji's (gurujis, modijis) of India only topled fomrer government of Rajapaksa because India lost a lot with Rahjapaksa's development plans. Our country saved money by having a back up airport at Mattala (when earlier we used to pay back up airport charges for Chennai/Madras or Indian Airports - an International Standard, we sold our air space via Mattala this is what Ravi-Rani don't say but hide...even Arjuna Ranatunga hides)

also Government has money to pay salaries think of how much we pay as VAT for mobile, Entertainment tax for even internet, income from various other sources such as customs, but Ravi-Ranil regime want to cut down government sector employees of over 1.2 million to 500,000 which is why they forecast and say and promote government has no money but they launch billions of treasuries to make money via companies through UNP Henchmen such First Capital Treasuries, Perpetual Capital and Treasuries to make their pockets full with 'White Collar Crimes' made money.

Rajitha Senaratne plays his own game by having a Hospital Equipment importing agency and selling those equipment to government hospitals at the cost of treasuries and he appearing in pictures saying that it being donated by government.

No you are wrong we have huge potential because of our geopolitical location, world know about it,so all of them need to use that oppertunity for their gain but foolish politicians dont know that,we can earn lot by using our ports well but former foolish gov wanted to give part of our land to china port city, you know they will use it for their martime puposes, but we have to look at sky ,foolishness, india and usa want to tackle chinese strergy in indian ocean thats why they interest on us,but we as a country do not have stratergy, former fools only played with chineese money, what they gave to average people, but the people of our country innocent and foolish enough to be mislead by politicians,we have lost all our cultural values, every nation has history wemust take things from it and build on it,so nothing new,our governing and trading agriculture should develop on that base, japan china, has developed on that base, but u see what mahinda did he ruined our base,he is cheating people, but he cant do it to interlectuals ,thats why he lost,

Wrongdoers must be sent to the places where they belongs. CSE doesn't react to this kind f baseless stories. We must not loose our concentration by these but need to value-hunt if we are to win in the CSE.

There was a no confidence for John as well before and where is it now? These all are dramas and everybody are trying to take us for a ride. So lets stop talking gossips and start on identifying value stocks.

And finally this is not a forum for political propaganda. There is another forum for that so any body are free to post on that.

Thanks

there is something called Economic Pillars...people thought Ranil is an Economic Pillar since Ranil took the same Ministry as Basil Rajapaksa which is Economic Development.

Economic Pillar - is a Factor or a Decision Maker of Economic factors...under Mahinda Rajapaksa he had certain policies and factors that imporve investment climate.of course market depends on investment policies economic policies etc...but all that depend on who take those directives under which vision and under which direction. So Mahinda and Basil took certain decisions under a Direction and a Vision but Ranil has proven his Vision is only gaining power to him

My friend Basil,

This is called learning from the past mistakes Very Happy . Since you raised this point I want to remind this fact as well. When UNP took over the country in 2001 under Ranil premiership he did two fundamental mistakes
a) Take popularized measures to turn around a negative economic growth including spend cuts and trimming the government sector while planning to solve the national issue with ceasefire agreement and develop the country with 64 mega projects with billions of USD investments not like Mattala Airport or Hambantota Harbor but other real development projects including triple in the size of Katunayeka Airport and enlarge the Trinco Harbor similar to Colombo (there was a booklet to illustrate these projects). But he has forget the fact that executive presidency is in another party and he should get the power to establish before drafting the vision for the country

b) He trusted too much the dissidents from SLFP to topple the then PA government and gave all the prominent attention to them at the expense of UNPers. The poor UNPers were crying and they said that they felt this is not their government. So Ranil has lost the grass root level and then lost the power in a short stint of two years.

Now what the new government is doing is exactly the opposition.

First they have got an executive presidency that will support them
Secondly they have taken very popular measures through interim budget which are directly benefiting the poor for example a plain tea is now 10bucks and people were talking positively on the reduction of essential items and the fuel prices
Then he has taken all the prominent portfolios to the UNPers and remain the second hand ones for the SLFPers and now they are crying and some resigned already

Through all this I can see that he has realized the fact that the basement has to be established before envision a vision for the country so it is true to see that his main task at the moment is to gain the power.

The results of the new government can be measured in very near future after the election but till then we need to focus on the stock market and invest wisely.

Thanks

these are just political revengeful acts, he was arrested not because ha has robbed, just becaos of a complaint that basil has damaged public property, on this basis ranil would have been the first to be in remand for allowing ltte to transport telecom equipment in 2003 thus causing loss of several thousand army personnel to the country
