I've just checked the f/s for the two years. The div payments were included in the f/s as follows.

In 2018/19 F/S
1) 0.50 in July 2018
2) 0.75 in Jan 2019

In 2019/20 F/S
1) 0.50 in Jul 2019 (Scrip)
2) 0.70 in in Jan 2020

2019 July Scrip dividend counts for the year 2018/19
In the same way 2018 July dividend counts for year 2017/18

Check financial year row in each dividend announcements.

You are correct. I just clarified how DPS of 1.20 shown in the f/s.

PLC will be a good investment. Definitely, this price is good to collect. Keep it few months and sell above Rs.14 Very Happy

PLC now has an upward trend due to less foreign selling. and hopes to This FY, profit will be increased than 2019/20. I commented on 21.08.2020, collect quickly PLC @ 11.70, It will fly Rs.13 ASAP.

. Foreign selling is almost finish.Rates controlling process seems to be over near future and bank and finance sector is going to fly. Very Happy

This is a very good share and has everyone mentioned above will trade around 14/15 in near future. Teller has uploaded a video for this as well. Hence, nothing to worry about.

If your focus is short term then i don’t know whether this will move like other shares in a shorter period.

Definitely, PLC moves above Rs.16. But this is not time to move. CB never increase rates until 6-9 months. better to collect slowly.. slowly.

Bro, interest rate cuts don't happen over night. There is a monetary policy review by CBSL and next one is due in October. till then present rates will continue and as mentioned in the August policy review, another rate cut is due in next monetary policy review!!!

Other factor is SFIN price. Always PLC price is greater than SFIN price. (At least Rs.2/=) But now,PLC is trading at very law price. There exists a outstanding Rs.2/= price correction also. If rates remain constant,PLC must touch Rs.15 /= very soon.

(I Have assume that other factors remain constant.) So, target price is Rs.15-16/=.
