yes bro.. also one more thing.. so as per the 3rd of december the stock value was 12.7.. suppose we get the div on 10th of december?  and the stock value is 15? so do we get the above stocks on which value ...we get it..for 15 or 12.7.. and the stock number varries?i m bit confused.. thanks!

No. The market price does not matter. It depends on the amount of shares you hold. Say you hold 100 shares at XD. You will get 100/21 shares extra.
