@Tiger wrote:hi all my friends, its nice to see all your comments. When I posted my comment I really thought that there would be many who has their own success stories and I though I can learn much from all of you guys and gals.
I thought there would be many self made milliners in this forum. I still believe that there are more successful people in this forum who dont want to speak up.

if you have the right stocks, you should wait. at present, fundamentals are taking a beating. as tubal said, we must wait till the dumb money is thrown away.
currently i have almost a 10% unrealized loss in my portfolio bt was able to make very small profits thru small day trades since im not taking much of a risk

agree with tubal and npp
@NPP-my loss is realized,i'll reenter with solid shares after these three IPO's ,one of my pick is CINS,i love it....
@slstock-i lost in some good fundamental shares, and some speculative shares too,but i ddnt lost in illiquids,i had to sold to collect money for IPOs.....those are hard earned money.sometimes it is good to sell at lost rather than holding and bear opportunity cost.hope IPOs would work for me.

Just thought of adding my story. Now I am 35.
I have a well diversified portfolio of investment. I have invested in areas perhaps some of you may not thought of. I have a reasonable net worth. These days I am moderately geared because the rates are low I always can match the risk to return.
There are stories about Mr A earned this much, Mr B earned this much and so forth. When I see most of the posts in the forum the feeling I get is that people are looking for shortcuts to get rich. Most of the topics either starts with HOW ABOUT....or WILL IT GO UP...etc..There are no shortcuts to be richer. This is a ZERO sum game pals, look at the things with a long term plan.
After all I sleep well.![]()
