The Abans Group has embarked on developing 2 acres of land in Colombo's CBD for a mixed development of 100,000 sq.metres - comprising residential apartments for sale, 200-roomed four star business hotel with MICE facilities and an 18,000 sq.metres shopping mall which is expected to house some of the most popular international brands of clothing and lifestyle products. The group is investing US$150 Million in this ambitious project. Abans has already entered into a joint venture with Silver Needle Hospitality, Singapore, for this project, which is under construction presently and expected to be completed in 2016.

The group is developing one acre of land which is strategically located on Colombo's main through fare and high street shopping destination The Galle Road and bordered on the other end by Marine Drive, which has become Colombo's fastest-developing hotel and entertainment area. The development will be phased in three stages to house hotel, entertainment, shopping mall and oces with a total developed area of 7000 square meters. Development plans for stage 1 for 6,000 sq.meter retail and 12000 sq. meter oce spaces at an investment of US$20 Million.
Tourist Hotels in Nuwara Eliya & Bentota
The Abans Group owns 2 acres of free hold land in the most scenic location, nestled between tea gardens and estates and adjoining the lake Gregory which is the focus of activity in the hill town of Nuwara Eliya at 6000 feet, , on which is planned a 50-roomed hotel. The Group has also secured 2 acres of land located amidst ve star properties such as Taj Vivanta, Bentota Beach Hotel, Anantara Bentota on the golden mile in Bentota, which is rated as The Best Beach in Sri Lanka and one of the best beaches in south east Asia by Lonely Planet on the west coast situated strategically in between the river and the sea with a coastline of over 40 meters t each border. The Group is planning to develop a beach resort at this location.
