GREG is being heavily collected for last several months keeping the price below Rs. 14.

This has to break 15 soon and move forward.

It is really nice to see GREG.N0000 sticker moving with a green color.

This was a most favorite share of all of us.

Need someone to just give a kick to this sleeping giant.  Very Happy

No company, only a few chairs with a table. No aim but just going on.

They gulped down money! Now where are those, destroyed warrents!

The initial players have vanished after performing all sort of  gimmicks to rob our money.

Now the owners are Taprobane - Ishara Chinthaka - Ajith Devasurendra clan.

GREG is kept under TAP.N

GREG is a giant , still gearing to become profitable. Its footwear and ceramic sections erode profits from other businesses.  If they overcome problems in those two sectors it will show its real colour.

ranferdi is correct, GREG is not an empty room.

With in very soon they will go for CLPL split and make CLPL.up and possible to push warrants up. Then people will subscribe warrents and huge cash will be received. In case if they do so GREG will enjoy a lot.

GREG have several cash cows under its belt. If DPL managed to get the advantage of exports to USA under GSP+ GREG will boost its bottomline. Further the most important and most profitable arm under GREG is south asia textiles - formely known as pugoda textiles.(which has assets worth of billions of rupees) This is like TJL and with the introduction of GSP+ This company will further benefit a lot in future.

GREG will be a great company in time to come and that is not far away as well.

Dear Bonbon

It’s not the fault of the company but the people who chased behind the GREG share blindly in 2010. I don’t think anyone purchased GREG as an investment at 2010 period but as a gamble.

In 2010 GREG was traded at Rs. 274.50 having a Net Asset Value per Share of Rs. 21.75.
Now GREG is trading at Rs. 14.00 having a Net Asset Value per Share of Rs. 22.62.

We all had done blind mistake in 2010 but we should not hate the company and keep away from the current opportunity.

I recommended this to buy when it was at Rs. 13.00 as a medium term investment. I’m sure this will give you a reasonable profit if you can Buy and Hold.

Machang don't invest in shares by only looking at nav. There're more shares in the market where nav far exceeds mkt price. You must look at eps levels also.
What's the eps level of Greg?? Can you justify these levels with there current earning levels. It's Gud that you look at nav of a share but try to look at other factors also before investing or recommending.

Jayathu, I took NAV only to compare trading prices of 274 vs. 14 with the same NAV.

If you look at EPS, yes GREG can perform better in the future. GREG is not a crap but it made unfavorable counter due to few traders.

You will have better options in the market than GREG, but this is not bad either.

I really appreciate the valuable comments from Experts and Seniors in this forum.

Unfortunately, I think people didn't get such advises during 2010 crazy period and everyone was Greedy.

Now we are advised about NAV, EPS, Sector Performance, Future potential etc..

I really thank to the New Development in SLEF and all the Experts, Seniors and Admins.

Greg has easily broken first resistance level of 14.00 with very good volume and the second resistance level is at 15.20.

Once it breaks 15.20 then it will move very fast towards 18.00.
