Even though BFL and LFIN represents two different sectors it is interesting to see which has more power to lead in current bull mkt since these two have now rated as hot stocks in CSE.

LFIN has already published improved profits for the June Q15 and BFL is yet to release its reports for the same period. However as a result of the positive environment prevailing in the country for the poultry industry we can expect improved profits from BFL for the June Q than in March Q 2015. Hence BFL would report a higher EPS for the June Q than LFIN and can expect this trend to continue for whole FY 15 as well for obvious reasons already discussed here.

BFL have more attractive reasons. BFL is the market leader in poultry industry in terms of revenue, customer base, goodwill and many more factors. Fortunately or unfortunately TAFL & GRAN got much attractive and neglect BFL for a while. Most of the intelligent investors have collected BFL as its great potential. Less debt balance sheet, huge surplus of retained earnings, continuous development with new projects, 16 million issued shares, highest net asset value for a share, new product development like saucages, meat balls, semi cooked chicken,etcc..added more value added to BFL. This sleeping giant has a Great past, present and surely a very good future too. LFIN also has good earnings but there will be a little uncertainancy with gold price drop. There is a new prediction that gold will be down $800 per ounce. It was traded as much as 1800 per ounce years ago but now @ $1080. more chances to drop oil prices which will make an impact to drop gold prices too. LFIN has billions of gold advances can become a risk asset for them. But when we compare with BFL, It has a great potential to pass 180/- with in a week definitely even further appreciation of TAFL & GRAN prices can help BFL uptrend. BFL will definitely pass 165/- mark tomorrow based on pv points, its break segments, bullish charts and uptrend circles. BFL has a very short term journey upto 237/-. in 2011 i can remind my past, daily price appreciation was recorded 55 rupees. So lot of share holders have baught BFL @ 185, 225/-,295/-,345/-,425/-,495/- during the time. Finally a share split or high dividend payment like kegalle (kegalle and BFL have some similarities in their balance sheets,as an example peg ratio) is possible. Even rs.100 can be paid as dividend with this unpaid profits. The company has a good cash flow and it looks profit to be reinvested wisely. In this scenario the internal growth of the company will ensure.

Still BFL is not a hot stock. It will become very hot during remaining stages of bull market as there will more demand for food related stocks. Its share prices should adjust according to the stage of bull market, future earnings and due to strong outlook in the industry.

BFL net asset value for share  Rs.122.66
Share holder funds  Rs. 1962million
Retained earnings Rs.1462million
A very good cash flow with less debt

TAFL net asset value for share  Rs.49.89
Share holder funds  Rs.million
Retained earnings Rs.551 million

GRAN net asset value for share  Rs.50.33
Share holder funds  Rs.million
Retained earnings Rs.1833million
Negative cadh flow too

SO its clear BFL is the leader and more value for the money.  It will reach 165/- level today.
