BFL is the superior winner.....in september. They almost achieved their sales targets in 3 rd quarter which will be ending with 30th september. New intergtated facility will be added from next month. CPU will be the lowest compare with TAFL & CIC.

Tomorrow mkt will be green if CB keeps the rate unchanged. If they hike up the rate market will be red. All depends on the announcement tonight at 7.30pm.
Most of the primary dealer n banks analyst ar expecting CB to keep the rate unchanged, but few at predicting .25 rate hike. No one is saying rate will be reduce.

What is the short term impact if they hike the rate to make market red ?

This has to be understood well. September is always a super month except sudden issues arises such as china crisis, downward trend of regional markets can not predict early and can not control by u & me. So its not fair to criticize always . Be patient this has to be up sooner than later.

MIJ first thing you have to understand is that NZ BOY just say things without putting any facts behind the statement. Don't take him very seriously.

Equity market is very much sensitive towards interest rate level. Last few yrs equity activity has increased due to constant rate reduction happend last few yrs. if they raise the interest rate people will start panicking and withdraw money from equity n invest in fds. I can't give u a definite answer hw much the market will fall if there's was a rate hike, but some sought reduction will happen not a major drop.

Rates are unchanged, but has to invest wisely.

Today's drop is completely artificial and done by some big players to collect more at lower levels.

New comers should not get in to this trap and put your money in to good counters with a vision of long term investing rather than going in to margin looking for short term benefits.

You will never know when these big players drop your PF prices and collect shares by force selling.

So, hope for the best. But with extreme care.

this is true,
it has become very sensitive to rates recently,
the best example if JINS (janashakthi)
it rose from 9 levels to 22 or something.
why????
because it gives a sure Rs1/- dividend always.
so doing the calcualations    if you invest Rs 100 for shares =100/22 = 4.54
you will atleast have Rs 4.54 as dividend which is the normal savings account rate.
that is how it went so high.
