Fundamentally sound bank, long term you can't go wrong. There earnings will improve next few qtrs. they hit a minor snag during first qtr due to kiribathgoda n Borrella managers action. They have taken further steps to ensure that won't happen in the future.

Wish to give below some useful fundamentals of NTB:

2013 EPS 9/92

2014 EPS 13/96

EPS growth of 40%

PE = 7.11

Based on the performance of the Banking & Finance sector NTB is expected to produce good results in the future.
(you may work out expected figures with an appropriate PE for valuation purpose)

Addl info:

2 weeks back foreign purchase amounted to 6.8 million shares at 105/=.

Budget will come Soon.. All Finance sectors will rally soon.. According to my analysis it will happen On Dec end - Jan onward..

Thanks, also don't forget HDFC, last report was good and can expect a good report. comparing the price of HDFC and NTB, the HDFC give us good return and they involved in Housing loan much. it will reach 100 before end of this year.
