I posted around 8.20 about a week or two ago to collect , now HVA touched 9.30 today
and 700,000 buy orders at 8.50 to 8.60
last time we saw this , a 1 million buy order came on top and pushed it hard.
if it happens again, this time it will break 10 easily.

Their profit margin should improve due to strong dollar. In every situation there are winners. It is time to study export oriented companies more.

Those days one dollar equal to around Rs.132.

Now it is around Rs.141

Difference(Rs.9) is an unexpected profit for tea export companies. How about another Rs.9? I don't think so.

ya they should post profits.
the more the dollar goes up,
the more valuable these companies become and profitable.
they earn Rs 9 more now for every dollar they earn!!!!!

@valuepick i agree with you that dollar deprecation will help export oriented shares and they'll get Rs.9 unexpected profits.
In this scenario bottom line will be boosted by 6.8%.

But there's a major thing you have totally forget about, that's export volume. Our tea Tea export has dropped more than 8-10% last few months according to the figures published. So your rupee deprecation wont factor at all if our export volume comes down faster than rupee devaluation percentage.

Only way i can see HVA can boost there bottom line is by controlling cost.

Yes I agree with you. Companies which can supply higher export volume will benefit most.

yes the amounts might have gone down but the tea prices have risen to highs last year and continuing.
you can see that it has risen almost world tea prices 35%

if you see the history of the graphs , in 2013 HVA gave a 20 cent dividend also
now the Tea prices have risen to even higher prices,
and also with the sudden USD valuation HVA should come into green and with any further USD going up
they should do just fine....

if they post steady profits this will shoot to 14+ levels
but before that speculation will surly happen given the history of this share.
2mor might be another special day!!!!!!

After an analysis of HVA foods I have found the following facts.

1. Revenue for the year 2015 has increased to 824 million from 723 million in 2014.

2. Gross profit has increased to 79 million in 2015 from 49 million in 2014.

3. Net loss has decreased to 2 million in 2015 from 17 million in 2014. Loss per share decreased to 4 cents in 2015 from 26 cents in 2014.

4. Though last year was one of the most difficult years for Tea industry where most of the plantation companies made huge losses, HVA is on the way to recovery.

5. Economic sanctions to Iran being removed and Russia getting stability increases the demand for tea from these countries.

6. HVA is introducing some innovative products apart from the traditional products. As we see a shift from artificial beverages to tea based isotonic beverages in the current world, there is a good future outlook for HVA.

7. HVA has approached Chinese market and it has 55 tea cafes and outlets according to the annual reports. They also promote online marketing there.

8. We can find HVA value added tea products in local super markets now a days which shows that an aggressive marketing is going on.

9. Devaluation of rupee will give an unexpected advantage. This itself can give around 30 to 40 million profit.

10. HVA is not a traditional plantation company and wage hike has lesser impact on its profits like other plantations. Also HVA invests on machinery to improve profitability.

After this analysis I am very optimistic about the future of HVA and dont need any promotion or manipulation to see the price going up in the near future.

Good Luck

they will surely post profits this quarter and as with all companies, the word will come out even before they upload it to the CSE. so the main run will happen before that,
this week the info should come out, even now maybe.
