Me too agree with Shark,

1. I really don't the issue with Asha Phillips..
However, we have to understand a one thing. According to Newtons first law, An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force...
So, same here with market, market moves in same speed unless an act of unbalanced force. Those, unbalance forces are news, announcements, reports generally. So, those unbalance forces are also welcome, and accept, its also parts of market. So, investors need to understand that market is not so simple..

2. Momentum meausers the degree of the force (unbalanced force) means the accelerate. (Relating to point 1)
All technical readers were telling about negative divergence of ASI of momentum indicators like RSI, MACD... continously from 7000.
When we throw up a ball, it goes up. When it goes up, at each step it de-accelerate. What's actually, happens is the down force (gravity) is accelerate.
Same here, when market moves up the selling pressure (down force) becoming gradually higher than the buying pressure.
At a one moment, ball stops in the space for a one moment, and start its down movement.
In market, same when selling pressure exceed the buying pressure, its falling...
Thats why we looking at divergences.

3. When we sell, someone have to buy, that's the procedure of the market. So, I think its not much wise to imitate the others like some foreign buying and all....

In conclusion, market is not so simple. We have to accept what's tell by the market. But, market is not rude, but not forgive. Before it happens anything market tells us. We believe market is always correct.
ASI could do a correctiion untill it breaks 7400. Sometimes it could bounce back to 7300. However, if it  break 7000, seems the end of its third leg and we should look for the fifth leg of ASI, probably with the beginning of next year.

1. Look at the EPS compare with others/leaders
2. Compare the EPS with last quarters to ascertain if there is a growth (minus or positive and how much
3. Look at growth rate QoQ
4. Look at NPVs
5. look at PBV,
Compare all these
1. with the same company's previous quarters etc
2. with the leaders of the industry
