Boring stocks are beautiful.

According to some intelligent researchers, the key is to take advantage of behavioural flaws in the market. According to them, many investors go behind exciting industries in search of great returns. That creates opportunities for investors to find undervalued stocks in boring sectors. For value investors, when an industry moves from boring to fascinating, it will pay off big. Some can stay out of favour due to short term issues. Later they will rebound as they continued to beat earnings estimates. We can clearly see this trend in some stocks in global markets. They were out of favour stocks in 2013, 2014 and first half of 2015. Markets can have some volatility but there will be great demand for boring stocks especially during period of uncertainty and volatility.

Boring products that are part of our daily lives that most people wouldn't even think of them as investment. Even in China those who have boring approach are outperforming majority market participants.

Globally some boring stocks are up for big time in 2016/17.

Shares in exciting industries are falling these days. So does markets. Markets are adjusting to the fair value. Those who can identify winning stocks could end up with winners especially in markets like today.

On Friday, NASDAQ had selloff in tech stocks led by LinkedIn but boring stocks in sectors such as consumer staples and telecommunications had strong demand and few hit 52 weeks high and one hit all time high as well. Globally, there are more stocks to break their 52 weeks high and all time high due to strong outlook and earnings. Similarly, there are stocks to break their all time low as well. It is better to avoid 52 weeks low stocks having strong weak fundamentals.

Over valued stocks and markets are coming down and undervalued stocks specially for boring stuff are generating great interest among investors and trades now.
