This is really frustrating, u'd have not paid them 1000 for this.. its even more horrible to see they charge for their group company IPOs.. Evil or Very Mad

Last time I got a bank draft from NDB for PCH IPO and being the bankers for IPO they charged only 110.. which was really fair I think..

Generally, what is the advantage of paying by a bank draft instead of your own cheque in case of IPOs ?

You are correct.

If you are going to stay in this share business it is very important to have a current account if possible.
Even when you sell brokers have to send you an A/C payee check. You cannot put it in some-others acct.

When you apply for an IPO and later feel it will be a loss like EXPO, you can give a "stop payment" order to the bank, if cheques are not realized.
I did this 2 times and saved my money.

If you a newcomer , using your hard earned money, then it is OK to start with bank drafts.

Somehow , I felt angry when I learnt PABC guys charged him like that. Actually with the possible 100-200 allocation, he gets nothing except the valuable experience .

Dear Panduka,

It is better to observe ethics in a public forum like this.

Anybody is free to ask anything he or she does not know. It is one of the most important objectives of this forum, I believe. Lot of people are here to learn.

Level of the posts reflects the level of the mentality of the publisher.

Thanks.
